| Okay albeit the animation is improving, it was still nothing above lackluster. As for the episode itself, it was a decent story about the book, I liked the rearranging of letters. That was good, the fights were okay, nothing special about them, I guess the lackluster animation contributed to that, nevertheless since the series is still beginning I am not going to overly complain due to the fact that it can only get better. Liked the episode 4/5. :) |

| I did enjoy it, but not that much. Happy is simply funny, saying "There are somethings you don't want to smell" referring to Gray and I thought that fortune teller was strong but instead he actually did tell his fortune haha |

| Well, going by the first four episodes Fairy Tail is pretty generic so far. I'm not finding the setting to be all that interesting, the animation is so-so with re-used attacked animations (didn't think I'd see that in a modern day shounen), and I'm not sure what I think of the characters yet. It has some funny moments, though and again it's only 4 episodes so I can't say much. But, I will say that One Piece and Naruto made me think that they had some potential by this point and I'm just not getting that feeling with Fairy Tail so far. |

| I kind of like it. Its not as bad as some are making it out to be. But then again I try not to compare to the manga when I watch something. Otherwise I will usually have complaints. At least a lot more than I would if I try to seperate the two. Not too bad. But because of the manga I'm a lot more interested than I would be. |

| Great episode,it's fantastic the personality of Natsu,he is a strong mage but at the same time he is not serious and very comic :D Lucy maiden sooo sexy ^^ Great mistery behind that book. Erza ....She looks to be very strong as we can see in the end of the episode. |

| the conclusion of the book mission they had was pretty good, the secret wasn't what i expected. the rest of the episode was okay nothing great. the action seems to be pretty decent with the exception of the animations they seem to be constantly reusing |

| My sister was watching this series, so I decided to give it a shot after seeing a few episodes in the future. I laughed harder than I should have at the fortune teller informing Grey that "I sense trouble with water and women in your future." That was the most blatant foreshadowing of Juvia I've ever seen. |

| Oh come on, I resorted to Fairy Tail to rid of the filler that most major anime series contain. Was there really a point to those enemies showing up at the last second besides to introduce Erza? No, it was just to kill a few minutes. Everything was pretty expected, and the battles too short, not at all enticing when there's no challenge. I found the spell cast on the book interesting, but that's about it. Also, the constant attempts at comedy detract from the show's ability to be epic and enticing. 5/10 |

| if i wanna be like the people who read the manga n all, fell its a bit fastgoing.. but in other hand i like it. like bit down rating with the seeing natsu's attack animation overnover.. but dosent bother me that much. also finally got to see Gray fighting. n maybe some plot ?? 4/5 for me |

| This episode was very mediocre... I don’t know if Fairy Tail is a anime for my taste. The comedy is not that good and very childish. And I love comedy when it is done right such as in Gintama, One Piece and Bleach! Also the episodes are so random without any structure... And last but not least it is so childish... |
| and the first medium length arc of the anime has been set up :) excited to meet erza, also the scene where all the letters of the book were rearranging was so well made |
