| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This reusing of Natsu's attack animations is starting to get on my nerves. Reminds me of the old jrpgs with prerendered special attacks. Other than that, they're breezing through manga pretty fast. 3/5 for the ep |

| The episode was fine for me. At least they finally introduced Erza. From what they describe of her, she sounds pretty awesome. :D |

| This wasn't boring. It felt more like... an average episode of Pokemon except this wasn't the least bit funny and entertaining. The pacing was too fast and the animation is being recycled too often. |

| Only thing really good about this is BGM (and I absolutely love the flute part of the OP x3 If it's even flute, lol). The rest is average xP Natsu's likeable, but so very generic. And wtf with the short dude's nose hair? |

| True, OSTs are good. Animation is crap and it probably won't get any better. Action is crap is well, overall it's just images standing still. Comedy is still pretty good. It's sad that it's so childish. I like Gray's seiyu. In the manga, this short arc was about 6 chapters long and they compressed it into 1.5 episode, with fights lasting quite a bit longer. Also, the writer didn't just cut off his arm, he committed suicide short after. It is a good adaptation, but they don't have to rush it - and it shouldnt be this childish |

| everage episode what i found weird was the introduction of the guy who was running thru the forest in the end of the episode (dont know who that is) like a few random guys and a fucking chicken are like planning to eat a cat with wings, and get there assess kicked very easily, then they randomly say lullaby and get sucked in the ground. (probably by that mysterious person) and thats how the guy gets introduced? sux XD |

| I really want to like this since I love the manga, but I so far, I can't. All the fights are slideshows and and always end with one of Natsu's boring, reused animation sequences. And how come the last third of the episode was fillers anyways? |

| another meh episode the second half is mostly filler Natsu's attack animation is getting on my nerves But I'm willing to forget all that because finally, Erza appears!!! I'm half looking forward to it and half-dreading it...let's hope they did a good job with her (as opposed to Lucy...) |

| Meh. Lucy went back to being annoying. Even Natsu is now annoying. Also because they didn't mention Natsu's name at all this episode, it took me 10 seconds to actually remember his name while writing this. Kinda bad when I can't remember the protagonist's name right away. Here's to hoping Erza is an interesting character who will add more "umph" to the show. |
