| Second season is here! So Tama's not in the first episode. That was expected. Iona's wish was brought to light. What a wish. Well, both of them adored battling. I won't expect much from this. Still, the first episode was good enough. |

| I see the voices still haven't come out of the stratosphere, but that's okay. Despite all my grievances of the first season, perhaps the biggest one being I never got my Ruko rampage of despair, I'm happy that BATORU: The Animation is back. |

| Wow I really liked the episode. Especially the beginning half, It seems kind of out of place since how is Hitoe all friendly and Yuzuki so calm and it was all really confusing. (some plot problems but meh, im sure it'll be revealed later) I did like how the episode set a nice, clam setting for a while there with memory spasms from the first season to build up when Ruko take Iona out. I swear I nearly forgot I thought Tama was just tired and when I saw Iona I was like "Whoa there what, oh now I remember." Really nice for the episode and they introduced the characters perfectly. Especially that Chiyori. Her constant denial of truth is cute, Iona is scary and where is Tama?! The OP and ED of this season, in my opinion, is much better than the first's. It captures the melancholic and despair sewn within the characters and WIXOSS itself. The animation was also well done. Much smoother and I think they were drawn better, 5/5. The only flaws I see are the character introductions (Where's Akari?) being rushed somehow and the plot. (Pretty quick pacing for a first episode but I think it's fine). | We're back, I'm back on the the WIXOSS wagon, it really feels kinda nostalgic, even more than expected, and good. | Finally watching this! I agree, I like the new OP and ED quite a bit. Couldn't really get into the episode though. A bit of recap is nice, but there was a lot of it. Plus, lots of mopey Ruuko :S I wanna see some action! Seems like she's reluctant to battle with Iona though ... who, okay wow, that ending with her and Ruuko though o_O Chiyori and Eldora were pretty funny though. Didn't expect them to return but glad they did :O She certainly wouldn't mind becoming a LRIG, clearly :P Akira's back next episode! Hopefully it's a good one :O |
| I'm not understanding how hitoe is able to interact with the other two girls. Hayakou (whatever her name was; cant remember japanese names) stated that once you lose 3 battles you are unable to get the very thing you desired no matter what. So how is it that, Hitoe is able to still make friends? Or is it that Ruko and Yuzuki are the only two friends she can make now because her memories came back? I don't know, a lot of the dark moments came from Hitoe's complete despair and lack of a social life, and fixing it so easily makes it seem like there's really no consequence of losing. |

| Interesting start of this second season, that dark atmosphere sure is created as strong as it was in the first and if the first episode is already like that I really wonder what it will offer us next! |

| Well Ruuko is having conflicts within herself... it seems Iona will try to change that. Nice set up I guess. Ruuko thirst for battle, just like Iona. I think they would make a better partner than Tama would ever do. |

| Half of the episode felt like a recap. There's way too many flashbacks. |
| Chiyori should have been the MC. Also Akira was in the next episode preview which will be hype. |

| Good first episode. Iona wants to bring Ruuko to battle more. I wonder, what she is up too. Chiyori is annoying as usual. At this point, I wouldn't mind, if Ruuko just crushes her. In any case, I'm curious if this will surpass it predecessor. I also want to see Aki-ugly again. She needs to be ruined and humiliated even more. |
