 It was announced on the cover of Volume 14 of Nisekoi that the anime adaptation will get a second season. More information will be announced in future issues of Shueisha's Weekly Shounen Jump magazine.The anime's final volume has an illustration that includes "See you soon," which hinted at the possibility of a sequel. The first season of the manga's anime adaptation aired from January to May 2014, and there are two OVAs being released this October and next February. | Hopefully they will adapt the funny parts or at least stay faithful. It should be fun to see some of the new characters again. I'm guessing this will air during Spring at best, Fall 2015 at worst. I wonder how many episodes there will be...20 again? |

| But, what's the point? Another 20 episodes of harem and teasing which girl has the key and more flashy SHAFT effects. Yeah, I'll probably watch it anyway. Male otaku need to stop bashing on the manservice shows when they already get an abundance of harem like this. |
| Time to get your sparkle on. The anime just makes me realize the actual material for Nisekoi isn't very good, it's decent in short bursts in weekly manga format good for a few laughs but in anime form, it was boring. Really didn't want this nor did this need one as there's very little plot-wise added even in all its chapters. |

| Quietly enjoyed the first season, I know it's pretty much a generic rom-com/harem but there's something I like about it. Feels like the sort of show that's going to go on without a proper conclusion though, and if it does get a conclusion it'll be a bit of a let down in relation to the amount of time in filler it wastes actually trying to get there.. |
