Chitoge's mum arc isn't something they would start with but I bet they skip into second school year pretty early on to introduce new characters. Or they can mix it somehow so it happens in second part of the show to give the anime some needed drive half-way through. With all that episodic content I think it doesn't really matter as long as they tell the important parts and preserve impression of flowing time. |
