| Well that's the end.. a very beautiful finale to a wonderful anime. I started off with the manga but sadly it isn't progressing.. I'll miss this great anime. By the way.. my goodness his Mum is freaking shocking hahahhaa. My god I laughed so hard. She has quite an amazing personality.. too bad she only had such short screen time. Sure do hope they'll grace us with a sequel. |
| Great show, I'm usually a fan of shounen/action animes so this was quite a difference from what I usually watch. Loved it throughout the entire show, most of the characters were likeable (especially Haru!) and it was quite funny when the comedy came. 9/10! Here is to hoping for a 2nd season. |

| Seishuu's mom is ADORABLE I enjoyed this series very much. In my headcanon the sequel has a romantic subplot where Tama and Miwa fight for Sensei's affection :3 |
| Really great series, very disappointing that it was only 1-cour. I could definitely tell that the pacing was off in a lot of episodes. |

| Well, I put this series on-hold for a while and finally finish it today...worth it I guess. This series overall is very funny...and damn his mom is a beast guhehehe. Was debating on how to score this...7 or 8, but since Naru is damn funny, I give it an 8/10. |

| I didn't like this as much as I thought I was going to, I still enjoyed it though. Naru and Hana are like the cutest characters there ever was. The whole cast was strong and I liked everyone. I was hoping the last episode would be more high jinks with the group but it instead was about whether or not he was going to go back to the island. Figuring out what he wrote seemed kind of obvious but it was still neat when you get to see it. But the real question of this series is what happened to the Village Chief? I think this show has some Higurashi undertones and nobody knows it yet. 7/10 |

| Well, I finally finished the series and I am a little sad that it ended at only 12 episodes. I wish it could've went on for one more episode but it ended nicelly and everyone got their happy ending and all in all, a good series. Grade: B+ |

| I got so much feels. I been emotionally compromised. I didn't sign up for this damn. Very heartwarming series overall with a lovely cast. 8/10. Certainly wouldn't dislike a S2, if only to see this cast again. |

| This was a great feels-good anime to watch to just relax. I didn't except to get pretty emotional over it either. The characters were all so likable and funny and the comedy was on point. It was overall a very simple show yet had good underlying messages about life too. Enjoyable watch! |

| I think this anime might become one of my favourites. I've enjoyed it to extreme lengths, even though at first I got slightly annoyed with all the kids who were barging at sensei's place. I've come to like all of them and, by the end of the series, I seriously had this fuzzy feeling inside. I'm also very fond of Handa-sensei, a really nice character, I'd say. He's funny how he always misses things, and yet he always has fun with those around the island (I just adore his impulsiveness followed by the so-called 'painful experience'). Handa-sensei is really fun to watch! One regret I might have, and that is that they didn't show enough calligraphy on the show. I would have liked to see more in that area. But, well, I guess that can't be helped. I loved the 'star' one, and it's a shame he threw juice on it *laughs though*. Anyhow, great show! I'm rating it 10/10 because I enjoyed it SO much. Also, Handa-sensei's mother... isn't she something? I laughed SO HARD, especially when she beat up Kawafuji. HAHA. Amusement overboard! |

| (Yes I know this is late) The anime had really nice drawing and animation along with a slice of life plot that doesn't sound good, but the series and end really surprised me! It showed how much Handa could change. Overall: 9/10 |

| I went into this show expecting nothing since I decided to watch it on a whim and it completely destroyed my expectations. This show was absolutely astounding with Naru being the standout. For me this show was a 10/10 without a doubt |

| was surprised it is the same Handa from Hand-kun, the anime was predictable and cliche. A guy is from the city, comes to the village, dislikes the village in the start and ends up loving and bonding with locals. That is an overused idea by hollywood writers, the protagonist will always be changed by the village or a low surrounding, leaves before the series to his previous life and eventually go back in the end. |

| And so everything turned out, well, just fine, in the end. It's a rare occasion that I watch anime that is so cute and genuine, with some comedy here and there. I think if the objective of this show was to make me want to spend time on that island with those people, it totally succeeded. |
| Was pretty enjoyable. I think the show had a bit of a drop in the final 2 episodes which is a shame as I was thinking of giving this an 8. I really liked Naru and I found some moments to be pretty funny but nowhere on Nichijous level. Overall the show is a 7/10 for me. |

| I feel the same for the series as the first time I dropped it halfway into the series. The show is enjoyable for what it is, but the potential is always there, and I feel like the series strayed away from it's strongest suite to insert some over-the-top scene/comedy which didn't always work for me. If used in moderation like Non Non Biyori, it could be great, but the series abused it, which to be honest, did not go hand in hand with the heartwarming scene, no matter how much you force it. I also didn't like the fact that there was a life lesson in almost every single episode, which mostly is for our main guy, Handa Seishuu. I don't mind getting those "life lesson" 2 or 3 times in a one cour anime, but for almost every single episode? How much do you want to emphasize on "I am teaching you something every episode"? The show had promises, but ultimately it's more of a comedy anime than a slice of life anime, which is a shame, I think this could've excelled as a slice of life. I mean, imagine if Handa wasn't acting like a shy girl who just met her crush for the first time ever when Handa met the director for the first time since the punching incident, it would've been more heartwarming than awkward, more genuine than comedy skit-ish.. Non Non Biyori is Barakamon done right basically. P.S. The production value for this anime is super high, the show looks really good and credit to Kinema Citrus for putting in the effort. |

| Sei is so much happier on the island, together with everyone. His personality is similar to what it was on prequel "Handa-kun", but no more barrier stuff :D I would wish to see more about their future on island and such :( |
