| Aww, the ending really got me so emotional, I really happy Gon having a very nice conversation with Ging about their journey and together they are learnng more about each other, that's sweet [ together as father and son]. OMG, I got so happy for this sweet and a bittersweet moment when we took a short glimpse Meruem and Komugi holding hands: they will always unite together *sniff* ;_; Kurapika shown up again and everyone are having fun. It's really sad seeing this anime come to the end, but we all know what we just saw thoughout the whole anime is just a little part of the world and I was so surprised that there's still a lot more we stil need to see in the outside world. Let's really hope this is not the end of the anime, there's still a lot of surprises Togashi has prepare for us ( this is far from over and let's all hope for the anime continues in a few years to comes, we all will be waiting for that day to come). Overall 10/10 and thank you madhouse and staff for this wonderful anime adaptation that I'm surely I'm going to miss ;_; and we hope to you see all again for the next HxH season. |

| I love hunter x hunter, I'm gonna cry D: The ending though, they made it sound as if it wasn't an ending, as if everything up until now was just an introduction and the real anime starts now. Such a great author if only he was consistant. There's very few authors that don't butcher their story like this one. Only thing I didn't like about the anime was those narrator info moments, it's like way too much explaination. Its still so beautiful Q.Q |

| Show had its ups and downs but it was nice to have something long to watch. Overuse of 13/26 episode sets makes me sick already with how shitty everything is paced. It would be nice to have another decent long runner to follow. |

| Gutted. Though, to be fair, I did think that was the best chapter to end the series on. I'm not sure about the use of "Departure" though, an instrumental piece might have been more fitting. But, then again, "Departure" has been there all through the series, so maybe it was fitting after all. And I guess it is a farewell. (Everyone has been talking about missing Togashi Tuesday but for me it was Togashi Wednesday. It just doesn't sound as catchy.) I started this series in my first year of university and it ended at the same time I finished my degree. What will I do without my weekly dose of Togashi to look forward to? Before Hunter x Hunter 2011 there was Level E and before that I was watching the 1999 series and OVAs. I guess it's time to retry Yu Yu Hakusho to get through the rest of my life. |

| It's been a terrific ride that has now come to and end. One of the best series imo, it had so many epic moments. It felt like a prologue so I guess there might be a continuation after some years. I'll miss it so much till then ;_; |

| Now with the anime ending, part of my life is gone... ;_; Though, a bit disappointed we didn't get a glimpse for DC arc. I wish MH at least tease us with Netero's opening video. Dangerr said: I don't hate Departure! or anything, but I can't help but think that was the wrong choice for one of the most powerful scenes in the entire series - probably the most notable misuse of the BGM. Ikr. I don't mind they using Departure, but I wish at least they fade it out to silent at KomuMeru scene. |

| Also, I wish people to stop calling Togashi lazy and all that DQ stuff. You should understand that it's not easy to write something as meticulous as this on weekly basis or even monthly. | Beautifully executed, easily a 9/10 for me. I don't think there could have been a more appropriate ending to finish it. The last segment especially was perfect aaand, I didn't expect Komugi and Meruem's scene, that hitted .. pretty hard my feelings. What to say? One of the best shounen manga. Now let's just hope that Togashi continues it because it would be really such a pity, I mean, after the introduction of the Dark Continent its potential has exponentially increased. Thanks based Madhouse. |

| Hmmm... and so the series ends. That was a really faithful adaptation... I didn't expect much from this arc's wrap-up so I wasn't really disappointed. In fact, the studio did an awesome job with the material they were given. This ep is 3/5; I enjoyed the previous one more. Be that as it may, this show is definitely a 10/10! Hunter x Hunter anime you'll greatly be missed... Time to start reading the manga where the anime left! |

| i bet no one knows better how to enjoy detours than togashi ... he is in no hurry to finish his manga , that dude even managed to sneak this message in the last episode ! so that's it . one of the greatest anime ever ended . it was fitting to farewell the series in " departure's " flying tone " you can smile again " cause its not the end for hxh . its been a great ride and the crew were really passionate to bring hxh excellence to its fullest . the brilliance in hunter x hunter were always there , but what it needed was exposure . MADHOUSE should be thanked beyond any words what they did for lazy ass togashi . we can only hope he gets back soon to his child that is hxh . the next arc is shaping up to be the best arc yet extracting best parts from each previous arcs ... please do it man !! you've had enough detours !! any way thanks togashi and madhouse . hxh 2011 will surely change anime productions outlook about what its to thrive towards perfection of adapting anime ....if only more studio's were this passionate about adaptations ! |

Given this adaptation's mood over the past 2 episodes, I think it would've felt very out of place if the ending montage was played in complete silence or something. To me, it ended on the best note possible. Anything but hopefulness accompanying Ging's final words would have been entirely the wrong feeling to convey. |
