For me i find the days are never long enough. I want to do so much i end up sitting up most nights until at least 4am. Im like "perhaps i should sleep" but then im like "no i still wanna do this". Although naturally sometimes i end up crashing out and sleeping for like 20 hours straight.

A little thing called the internet, which for some reason no matter how resolute I am at going to bed at a decent hour always foils my plans.

Depending on how busy I am during the day, I go to sleep between 11-2. School days I wake up at 7, and that's with a lot of coffee.

The rest of the time I'll wake up from 10-2 :)

I can't nap during the day for some reason.

I don't know why I woke up at 6 today, it's freakin' SATURDAY!

I have been watching Bebop quite late at night though..

I get close to 10 hours of sleep a night. I don't do caffeine so getting extra hours in is the only way I stay awake during the day.

I question why people WANT to stay up late. I once pulled a two all-nighters in a row and felt horrible for the next few days. :D

I can't handle falling asleep past midnight, it bothers me for some reason... Guess I'm just weird like that. I used to be such a night owl too. :P

I seriously can't anymore. I'm just not used to waking up at 6:30AM everyday. If I don't sleep before 10:30PM, I would get so tired the next day. And it's awfully horrendous when I can't concentrate in Chemistry, the current course where I'm just barely passing.

I always stay up late. Even when I had to get up at 6:30 to catch a train, I'd stay up till around 1-2 just because I'm dumb and don't mind not getting enough sleep. Nowadays I usually fall asleep around 4-7am, waking up around 12-4. I'm a night person :P

I'll stay up all night around once a week.

I really need a job :/

EDIT: I never really needed caffeine to stay up, it's always been a problem. I've had lots of issues falling asleep since I was a little kid.

Wait a minute. You think you can sleep very little and not feel bad or sleepy the other day? Sorry but that doesn't happen.
As a person who suffers from sleep problems let me tell you that you are lucky. I can't sleep at nights and i walk all day like a zombie. Am freaking suffering and i even have headaches from the lack of sleep.
Don't ruin your nice sleep routine.
Pretty much what I wanted to say. Sleep deprivation is not pleasant, especially over a sustained period of time. Now I don't know your reasons for staying up op, but I'd say you shouldn't bother. Not only is it unpleasant physically but you won't be functioning as you should mentally. Like Monad said you feel like a zombie.

Sometimes I'm like you... I don't need as much sleep, but sometimes when I really want to stay up later, I just can't. Buttt lately to stay up, I'll watch some anime or read some manga for an hour or two... And then get up from my chair and walk around. Or open my bedroom window and stick my head out. ((It's FREEZING cold outside!)) And that usually wakes me up enough until I have to do it again. :))

On the weekdays I have to wake up at 6:00 for school, so I fall asleep anywhere inbetween 12-2 a.m. and on the weekends I can usually sleep until at least 10, so I usually stay up until 5 a.m. Last night I was up long enough to hear my alarm clock go off... :P It was pretty sweet. Aaaand I'm planning on doing the same tonight. :)

And I still live, just so you know. Every once in a while I take long naps in the afternoon and I get headaches during the day sometimes, but I'm still getting A's and doing fine in gym. Although I can't stay up that late EVERY day EVERY week FOREVER... So I do it when I can.

I got work almost everyday, so going to bed early is crucial so I rarely ever stay up. When i do, the latest i can stay up anymore is about 1 AM on a off day.

I stay up until midnight-1 am on school nights, wake up at 5:30-6 am. If it's the weekends, I go to bed around the same time, but sleep in until 11 or so to catch up on missed sleep.

Summers are fucked up, go to bed at 5 am, wake up at 1 pm.

I usually have the TV on and I play a game on my DS. Other times, I'll read. If my laptop worked properly, I could stay up with no problem with that.

7 hours of sleep is quite healthy, as for me i stay up past 2:00-3:00 am and wake up at around 11:00am-1:00pm, during the time im awake i watch anime, drama's, reading manga, or playing some casual games.

I can't. I usually fall asleep around 1 or 2, no matter how much caffeine I consume. I've had up to 3K mg of caffeine in a day, and still fallen asleep in that time frame.
I'm back.

Borderlands.
This man knows what he's talking about. It even prevented me from studying for about 4-5 hours before an exam >_> "Just one more quest" has never been more accurate.

By the way, if anyone has a Siren's Firefly class mod that gives 40%~ to ignite damage and +3-4 Phoenix on PC, let me know >_> Some Spark points would be spiffy too.
Or a Hunter's Ranger class mod that gives +4 to Predator.

Yeah, Borderlands is keeping me up, in more ways than one, too.

Remove any visible clock, analog/digital, from your room. This will help you loose track of time. Avoid reading book and taking shower. Then try to have snack instead of real food. (assuming you already had shower and ate 4 or 5 hours prior)

If you could do all the above i guarentee you'll turn into a vampire in less than a month.

FYI i'm perfectly in shape, still have daily routine - just not the typical ones.

Sure, if you load up on it overmuch, you'll end up crashing. That is why it is best just to get a caffeine IV. =)

On a normal week day I go to bed at 11:30 pm and get up at 6:15. I only get around 6 - 6.5 hours of sleep but I'm used to it. Without a computer screen in my face in the late evenings I couldn't keep this routine going.
... Even if I took time to write alot of intelligent words of deep thought and meaning in my signature, would you really care to read and comment on it? ...

I have insomnia, so I'd kill to be able to sleep like a normal person. That said, on nights where I need to stay up seriously late, doing anything on my laptop tends to keep me up, must be the light coming from the screen or something.

Get someone to poke you with a stick for hours on end.
Or even better, get someone to be on Skype in the next room for the next 18 hours starting at 2am, in a soundproofless flat. I didn't sleep last night.

Oh yeah and drinking the blood of the innocent.

When I used to stay up late I would use caffeine and I would usually be texting a friend who would be trying to do the same. Before I got a cell phone though I would stay up late reading, and when I couldn't do that I would listen to music loudly and change the volume every once in a while. My ears would have to get used to the level again so my mind will be paying attention. Changing the volume keeps me alert hehe.

I don't know if they'll work for anyone else. I'm not even sure they'll work for me now hehe.

Avoid sitting on a bed or a really comfy couch, that will make you want to curl up and sleep. Also keep the lights on if you can.

My sleeping routine is all messed up. I have a Mon-Fri full time job but the time at which I wake up and go to sleep is pretty much different every day. Some nights I will sleep for 2-3 hours, other nights 7-8 and then there are the killers where I get home and go to bed straight away and have a good 11 hours or so. It's just messed up and I never actually feel tired as in droopy eyelids and all that. You have never seen someone fall asleep as quickly as I do. Friday sucked, went to sleep at 11pm and woke up at 3:30am and was like 'what the f am I supposed to do now?'.

Note: I have no game consoles at all. I just have the internet and books. This is a problem.

My sleep schedule is always shifting around because I'm not working or going to school, so I don't have to get up at any specific time on a given day. I just sleep whenever I'm tired. Whether that's six in the evening, or six in the morning.
