Yugioh 5D's at top of the list huh? Not too shabby.

Yu-Gi-Oh on top? Wow. Monster Musume still on the ranking.

SNK volume 1 never leaves this ranking... well, it's kinda expected anyways.

How did yugioh make it to the top? Like people still watch/read that show? I thought it was like Pokemon with 47season to much to even try to enjoy.

Not hating on it just making an assumption since after the original version it went completely down hill imo(just like Pokemon). Yugioh & Pokemon are just so cliché, theirs a bad guy, beat the bad guy, the day is saved once again thanks to the pow...pokemon master ash the un-ageing 10year old boy and his immortal mouse that beats up legendary beasts that can clearly destroy cities yet not a mouse..

read sig.

card in question: http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Hot_Red_Dragon_Archfiend

Market value at 8$+ basically the cost of the manga

as for the "cliche" ness. Its a shonen show. Designed for kids. Suprisingly enough, each season gives different feels for situations and plot(GX pondered with spirits, 5Ds is dubbed the darkest of the Yugioh series, Zexal messes with alternate universes, Arc-V with parallel universes.) the topic of Cliche could be brought up to a majority of anime none the less. Including modern ones. For the majority of people, the people who think that the Season 1 of Yugioh was the best(note season 0 was japan only) are the ones generally who didnt give the rest of the series a shot with a good amount of episodes, and are basically putting on their nostalgia glasses. (generally the same group of people who think gen 1 pokemon is the best)

If your going to complain that Yu-Gi-Oh! Mangas are on the top NY times manga best sellers, you must not realize how popular Card games are(as well as the fact that you get a free card).

Time Killers making the list is pretty interesting. Hopefully Viz will be more open to this type of one-shot anthologies from popular mangakas. (The one from the mangaka of Nisekoi would be nice to have)

Yu gi oh 5D's was better then the original. That is why it does so well because it was actually better. The rest of the series (Although Arc V is pretty decent) have sucked but 5D's was amazing.

The 5D's anime was great. Sorry haters.

Glad to see the manga up there, along with One Piece.

I didn't expect Yu-Gi-Oh to be the top best seller.
If i'm not wrong (please correct me if I am) sometimes the manga includes card/cards right?

all first prints of yugioh manga's include cards, generally worth more than the manga itself. tis why when the manga gets released(the one in question released on september 2nd) it easily hits top

Thanks for explaining this to me, I didn't know how the whole thing with the cards worked.

YGO 5D's at the top spot is not surprising, it has a great card attached to it that's also one of the main cards of the show.

Anyway glad to see Nisekoi, Pokemon and Monster Musume on the list.
Hopefully Noragami will be listed next week.
