Code Geass: Hangyaku no Lelouch (R1 & R2) was the most memorable anime for me.

Neon Genesis Evangelion, partially because it was the first anime I watched, and, by being the first anime I watched, I was a bit too young to understand wtf was going on in the end. So, really, it was just this mind-blowing experience where Young Me had no idea what she just watched but she was very, very sure it was something extremely important.

Since rewatching I understand it a little more and love it a little less, but it's still something that's not going to go away ever.

But not because it's the best movie/anime I've ever seen...it just makes me happy.

Same here, my mom showed me this when I was a small child and it is through this anime film why I love anime/manga to this day:3 x

Out of the 10 anime series I'm watching so far this summer I'd say Soul Eater along with Golgo 13 are the two best that I've watched thus far.

Dear God.

Elfen Lied has to be one of the worst animes I have ever seen.

Anyhow, probably Inuyasha, I watched it a lot when I was younger and it also pushed me into my anime craze.

To be perfectly honest i'd have to say Pokemon, followed by DBZ... Not because they're my favourite animes (which they're not) or because i've voted them 10/10 (which i havent), but because i grew up watching those, so they had a pretty big impact on me growing up, thus they're my most 'memorable' animes.

Hmm... would have to say Gurren Lagann, as it was the first anime I had ever seen. I will never forget its over-the-top level of manliness and awesome.

Other than that, maybe the Clannad series? Afterstory made me cry more than anything else I've ever watched, I believe.

If you really want to fit in, just put Legend of the Galactic Heroes in your top 5 and have it be the only 10-rated anime in your list.

The three that just left an everlasting impression on me were:

1.) Claymore
2.) Kurozuka
3.) Katanagatari
