| Damn, so the crazy bitch queen used to control the people by controlling the access to the knowledge of crop cultivation. If people wanted grains, then they had to go through her. Wouldn't be surprised if that actually happened during the early years of farming. It's not much different from what corporations like Monsato do with GMO seeds. So those soldiers won't rape ugly women? If only it was that easy. Horny and deranged soldiers don't care much about looks, since rape isn't about sex to begin with. During war, rape is just another weapon to terrorize and break the people. Also, how is this anime rated G? For one, there was a genocide in the very first episode, and now there's talk about wartime rape. |

| Man this got real tragic in just one episode, Hinaku and Gesaru had an almost worst ending possible, with both being able to survive, despite having lost quite some of their sanity. At least Himiko got a really karmic death and that was satisfying. Either way this anime overall is... unusual, in themes, art style and overall story. |
