| ALL the entries on the row along the bottom of your list are just sums of the totals at the end of each section (watching, completed, etc.). This includes Mean Score and Score Dev., and has, I believe, always been the case. |

| i still haven't updated anything on my list since all this went down... because my profile bbcode is stuffed atm: http://myanimelist.net/animelist/-Mihairu as you can see, the top part is messed up (it should also be at the bottom) and my background shouldn't be tiled, it was one pic over the whole thing. this only happened after the hacking drama and it has not reverted. my question is, is this something that is yet to be fixed? or am i going to have to do something on my end? (not confident in my coding skills, i coded this around a year ago, i've forgotten it all) |

You are redirected to another site and you enter your login data believing it to be MAL - so whatever your password may be, hacker will still learn what it is. The only thing you can do to avoid that is simply be careful and pay attention to URL ad you enter login info and not just to the layout of the site. I recommend everyone Web of Trust addon (available for both Firefox and Chrome). Makes your browser almost immune to phishing. I'd say that it's pretty easy to spot that WoT icon isn't green like usual. And if anyone else already came across this particular site and marked it as phishing attempt - you'llbe warned about that. Very useful addon. Also addons like NoScpit (Firefox) or ScriptSafe (Chrome) are pretty useful too. Once you allow scripts on your favorite sites - you'll imiidiately be able to tell that some site is fake since scripts will be disabled even if it looks similar. I recommend both addons to MAL mods, just in case phishing attempt happened again in the future. |
