Glad to know there is a second season for this anime.
It looks like the plot is picking up again, but there is a lot things I can see being unanswered in the next couple episodes.

Amon sure drops his guard quite a lot of times

We got some new characters entering the stage

The investigators are heading to the 11th ward because the ghouls are slaughtering them there. Jason from the 13th is in the 20th looking for the (dead) binge eater. And a bunch of random ghouls - one of whom is coffee girls brother - from a yet-to-be-disclosed ward (?) are invading the 20th because, um, "unknown". Or were they with Jason?

We got a flashback from Touka san on what her family is like and Kaneki got a little tease from Itori lucky Kaneki

Will a war emerge from the 20th ward (is that who I think It is Touka's brother).

(Ren got beaten up by Uta didn't expect that from him)

I love how Rize has managed to come out of nowhere and make enemies with basically everyone.
Good episode, like the parallels between the Ghouls and the CCG investigators. Really enjoy that both Kaneki and Amon seem to consider their opposing stances rather than immediately come to a consensus. Both sides concluded with an act of murder, so I like the pace of distrust. Additionally appreciate that the show didn't vilify the investigators to garner more sympathy towards Ghouls. Within narrative, both sides logically have their faults and crimes against the other. Nishiki and Kimi are my favorite example of bridging the gap of expectations. Specifically Nishiki, who seems on par with individualistic accountability rather than faction blaming.
