| the k-on and strike witches references were the obvious ones this episode... however a lot of that promo video jumped out at me (although they were probably my own forced imagination references lol)... examples: (btw high res images) once again... they're probably not references but just my forced imagination xD |

| I spotted K-ON and that scene on japanesse carrier (Soryu? Hiryu? I can't tell, it's probably a mix of those two with Shinano) was Sky girl or sth like that. However promo was very clannadish and airish ;) |
| I lol'd over the yaoi moment, knowing that people would go "Eeew" over it. It didn't bother me at all, even tho i don't watch those types of anime, it wasn't a face-palm moment, more like, Hehe this was unexpected moment, long story short, that whole scene left me with a smile on my face for some reason kinda like when i first save the 200 naked men in inukami for the first time, i also liked the whole slave part, it reminded me of Keita from inukami ^^ |

| ... and suddenly, Sakurai Takahiro. Out of nowhere. Does this mean Echo of Death should get his own character db entry? Being voiced by him and all (but then again he is a fictional character in a fictional story) Strike Witches parody was wayyyy too in-your-face direct for my liking, but then again GONZO seemed to have lent a hand in this so I'm not surprised. I couldn't give a damn about that K-ON! reference too. That aside, the remainder of the episode was freaking hillarious. Poor, poor Ken, being forced to write a BL story and later an S&M story involving himself. I could only imagine how he suffered as I laughed uncontrollably in front of my screen. That promo video had me laughing at how cheesy it was, the music especially. Love it. |
