lol. 2 pages? That's it? Meh. >_>
No plot, no development, nameless characters... surely not her best one shot.

I think she wanted to portrait what Eros could mean to a person.

I think It's her best one-shot, and it's the one that made me want to read the rest of her work. It's beautiful because it's simple. It wastes no words, and that's why I love it.

I read it twice.
Since, the first time, I had to go back and check to make sure it was as short as it is.
However, I think that because it was so short, the story hits home even stronger for those who can see it.

I agree completely.
Short, sweet, and concise.
Yoneda Kou Sensei has once again awed me entirely.

Really short, but it is meant to be. I first read it really fast, without even thinking about a deep interpretation. Maybe because I am not a native english speaker, I could not reflect well over some sentences. So, on Manga Fox forum (Thread: i honestly ddn get it!!!) I found a user (his nickname is Jynxies) that really did a good interpretation of it (totally changed my idea of this one-shot), it was great. Because, you see, we don't really stop to reflect on such a short story (it's like 30 seconds of your life...). Anyway, it turns out that it can be deep if you stop to analise (like other one-shot called Hotel, it has nothing alike the story of this one, but it's deep too). You can find Jynxies analysis here, it's long, but you won't regret it.

Even though it was short, I really enjoyed reading those two pages, this one shot actually has a whole story in it. Well its very necessary to understand what the author wanted to say, so have to read it from that point of view. So my conclusion: I liked it :)

It wasn't bad, but I prefer more development than this.

I prefer the shortness of this one--it doesn't waste its breath with excessive talk or scenes. It just gets to the point.

Indeed, two pages was very short. This story displayed the character on the right ('hostage')s interpretation of eros. These two characters do have a passion (and, I like to think, love) for each other. However, it seems the character on the left is stoic - seemingly unaffected by emotions on the first page. The character on the right found him amusing, to hold in his pain, when his wounds were being treated... The question can be, who is truly the stoic one here??
