| Tough break for Maruo as he got the draw of the first seed Yu Nabae for the first round of the tournament, but at least for the start of the game, he's holding his own ground really well, especially after all the training he went through to transform his physical conditions. It's an interesting sort of match, seeing Maruo and Nabae almost go at it like a chess game. They both are the analytical type and utilize data to read their opponents and counteract their weaknesses, so seeing both try to compete while not letting the other read them properly is fascinating to say the least. A game with layers right here, one slip up and you can easily get 'checkmated' in this kind of match. |
