| Hey guys! So I'm looking for an anime where the main girl works hard to overcome something about herself,or is over persistent in order to be with the guy that she likes. The thing is though, she has to end up with the guy. Itazura na Kiss has a great example of this: If the anime you're suggesting doesn't include the girl getting with the guy, please don't bother suggesting it. I hate seeing hard work wasted, and it's honestly one of my biggest pet peeves. Of course, if the guy she's going for is a douchebag and someone much more fitting comes along and takes her, that's fine too |

| This is actually a difficult one. I can think of shows where she doesn't get the guy she desires like School Rumble, or shows where the male is the unsuccessful pursuer like, again, School Rumble, or better Saiunkoku Monogatari, or where she doesn't seem to care and gets the guy anyway like But shows where the female is the pursuer and ends up with her beloved?
