| The Gin and Hijikata stuff was so hilarious!!!! OMG the Totoro movie with the cop LOL! they were crying and the cop didn't even care about the girl, lol. When he said the people at cinema should be at work it made me laugh too! It was funny with them in the sauna and they both looked so hot topless <3 It certainly was legendary. The second part, whoa! they were playing kick the can with a ghost! D: that's crazy and scary a little. |

They sped up the opening for lack of time in this one. Too bad they couldn't borrow any from last episode's sleep paralysis scene. :D Oh that's right! Hijikata is the mayo obsessed guy. Yuk. :D Hafta feel bad for the assassin getting destroyed so much. Hopefully the movie, which made for another Totoro nod, was worth his abuse, eh Hedoro? :D Throughout the sauna scene all I could think of was that 2003 Simpsons episode where someone tried to murder Homer the same way. Thank goodness for mosaic censorship. :D First half was fine, but I definitely enjoyed the second story more. It had a sweet message about being able to enjoy childish things even as an adult. And the reveal of the old man being the ghost of Zenzou's father was cool. I'll bet Sachan won many games in her day with these moves: One thing's certain: Kagura takes kick the can very seriously. :D  |

| Alright, as always, I enjoyed the episode The first half with Gintoki and Hijikata were absolutely hilarious. Their debate in the beginning of the episode that was about Red Beans on Rice and Mayonaisse on Rice was really funny, and I honestly didn't expect it since I thought it was only going to be Hijikata and the brothers attemting to assassinate him Then, you had Hijikata going to the movei theater showing "My Neighbor Pedoro," which I also found to be really funny as well the moment it revealed that Pedoro was just a fat police officer with only underwear on haha, and then we saw them arguing again in the theater again, but Hedoro got everyone to sit back down quietly, and the movie made everyone cry And lastly for the first half of the episode, you had Gintoki and Hijikata meeting up at the same location uninentionally, and this time, it was at the sauna. They got stuck in the Sauna, but both tried to surprise eachother with a sneak attack, but instead, knocked out the final assassin brother The second half was also funny as well, I found it pretty funny when Hattori was saying the words about his father at his funeral, more specifically, when he ended it by saying that he was a crappy father, but it was also interesting that Hattori's father was playing Kick the Can with Kagura, Gintoki, and Shinpachi at the same time his funeral was going on, I wonder if that was Hattori's father's spirit Overall, I really enjoyed this episode, and I'm definitely excited to see what's next! |

| The first half was one of the most hilarious moments in gintama up till now. I laughed so hard that it made me remember Grand blue for some reason. |

| Weird, i thought to have already commented this. Second half was ok and my main reason of enjoyment was having a very appreciated italian voice actor portraying the old guy playing "kick the can", finally met about three years ago, and just by watching the character, even before he said a word, i correctly guessed it would have been him even in my first watch in late 2021. The first one... didn't begin too well considering my favorite OP was cut and sped up with apologies to the author (ok, but you'd better to actually fully play the song in episode 49), and GinHiji together just can't fail. "Poor" jouis, caught unbeknownst in fighting over high class food battles, extremely funny theater arguments (i cheered when Gintoki straight up called Hiji "the mayonnaise samurai" 'cause i couldn't remember any more when it happened, and that quote "why are you all in a cinema at this hour, shouldn't you be at your job?"), and "Simpsons already did it" final bit with the sauna killing attempt botched by the couple trying to oneup each other even at death's door about who is the most badass, as if both trying to use logic about the actual going to the sauna of the other guy wasn't hilarious enough. |
