| As the title says, I can't help but wonder why was the franchise left in the dust. I know, I know it got a movie but that was average quality at best. As I am not much of a manga reader I was wondering if the anime is ever going to get a continuation because I thought the premise of the show was quite unique though it had some cliche elements like most of the shows that are coming out recently, but yeah, it was good and I think it deserves a continuation. What are your thoughts on this matter, any predictions ? Hints in the manga about this ? |

| A remake is more likely than a sequel, since the anime just went full filler mode in the later episodes and changed a lot of stuff up. Even so, it'd be unlikely, considering that the manga is published monthly, which kind of hurts the interest in it a little. |

A remake probably wouldn't come out anytime soon because the show came out only a few years ago. Maybe in a few years there will be one? It's pretty sad-Ao no Exorcist is one of the better shonuns I've seen and it definitely deserves a second season. |
| Why would they do a remake? The anime isn't that old. I do hope there would be a sequel, and I think it's more than possible. There were anime that I thought would never get a sequel but they did so...I hope it's only a matter of time. Was the anime even popular enough in Japan? |
