Oh boy, the heat is up in this episode and I don't mean just the temperature. I thought the episode's nature was much more serious than some of the previous. A kidnapping in the baths? Damn.

That's also a pretty chilling ending there. Kindachi, you better get working on this case.

Man that expression that girl had at the end there. I kinda have a feeling I know who's been doing this.

Hmm in my opinion there is hardly enough we know of what Kenmochi did after one of the culprits from 3 years ago pissed him off, so the sister of Marina (Erina or something) is clearly the most suspicious one since she had the best chance to take the gun from Kenmochi... But seeing as how she had that shady overused red herring type of deal going on at the end, hard to say.

Other one is the annoying brat himself who would have faked the shooting, and who would profit the most from framing Kenmochi, but I don't really see him having the chance to take the gun anywhere in this episode. Also he's the one who called the victims home, but on the other hand I don't see how he would have made the water flow like that from afar...

It might seem obvious that Erina is the true culprit, but is she really? O.o . Does she not care even if Akechi is being framed because of it?

Well, I hoped for those 3 to be punished, but killing them like this is kind of a corrupted way to go about it..

Good start to the new case. This'll be a good one!

Geeez, is Kengo a Taiwanese cop or Japanese Cop?

The episode kinda reminds me of one of the episodes in "Elementary"

Where a cop from Scotland yard was also being set up.

Good start to the case, pretty much everyone hates the culprits from three years ago. Why frame Kenmochi though? That makes it a little hard to guess at the culprit now. And that smile at the end. This will be a good one.

This seems like an interesting case, perfect after two lighter episodes. Probably my favorite set-up so far. I'm not sure if Kenmochi is being framed. Perhaps he's purposely hiding because he thinks the girl is the culprit. I have a feeling she isn't. Blonde guy seems suspicious.

Akechi has always been Japanese? Are you thinking of Li Pai Long from the first case?

Maybe he confused because in live-action Li Pai Long play Akechi role in prison cram school case.

well if not for that overused suspicious grin at the end I'll probably think that she is the culprit.

But don't count her out anyway because from my exp from watching the old series everyone can be the culprit even the most suspicious and shady person

This episode lacks the prologue, which might explain a bit about kemochi's grudge toward the victims...

Interesting case. Certainly trying to portray Erino and Kenmochi as the culprit, yet I can't help but feel that actual murderer, or at least the one organizing the murder is that shady lawyer.

This case is really interesting!

I'm suspecting the girl or the husband who's now the detective.

I am a little late for this party, but i do believe that this case (or the one about the girl's sister who was murdered) is a reference to a real life kidnapping / torture / murder of a highschool girl way back in the 90's or 80's.
just look up Junko Furuta.

God I remember reading about that case before and when I looked it up again I felt sick to my stomach.

Even though I don't support murder, but damn they deserve to die.

Last i heard, they didn't get capital punishment.
i think 1 or 2 of the guys who were part of the crime are free by now too.

I think Erina is not an murderer, yeah she is angry because what those 3 did to her sister but something is missing from this case...

It's very sad case that happened, and it seem like none of those guys feel anything... and they act like @ssholes, after everything happened.

So obviously not the oldman

That creepy smile at the end though

Also that blonde guy should just die, he's annoying.. and will get more annoying in the next ep

Erina has the motive and the opportunity to steal the gun but she just seems too suspicious.

I think she is a red herring.
If she was the culprit, she wouldn't behave that suspiciously because she might be stopped before killing the others.

Honestly gonna be a tough case to watch considering the case is seemingly similar to that of Junko's. No matter the outcome I hope the pieces of shits get what they deserve

Looks like this is going to be a good one. I don't think it's her sister though. My suspicions would either be in the other cop Aoi or the lawyer.
