I was raised on a variety of music, so there is country, rock, some rap, and pop. A few of my favorite bands/singers are The Beatles, Confederate Railroad, Warrant, Poison, ABBA, Cyndi Lauper, and Queen. Oh, and anime music, too.

This album for me is a cognitive take on self awareness by means of audible art… not only letting it represent you, but having an active/conscious role in the who, what, where & why of yourself .. and decisively expressing that through your art. Basically, what you play/listen to being an outward reflection of an inward mentality.

The album like all of his self titled work definitely comes with an agenda and greater purpose .. and as always, a message worthy of paying attention to :-)

These are probably the most interesting words I've read from anyone about the album. It's certainly a personal work, definitely my favorite album from last year, and one that I'm still listening to every week and not getting tired of at all.

That version was interesting, but the one I like besides the original was this one, where they broke it down:

I like everything from metal to cheesy rap songs. I would have to say the band I enjoy listening to the most on a regular basis is u2. I went to see them in concert and they really put on a great show, glad I went. Now if were talking anime music, heres some of my favorites:

Favorite Opening Song's:

The song is Falling Down by Oasis, and I think I just sound some decent tabs.

I was able to find the VSQ for the first OP of Toaru Kagaku no Railgun. So of course the first thing I had to do was run it through Miku.

Its pretty basic, just mixed it in Audacity. When I am more alert I might try a version with Gumi as well (I only have two Vocaloids).

Ah, those were the same ones I found. Thanks though! There is a video of me attempting to play it on Gitah on my Facebook. Hopefully when this sickness goes down I can try singing along to it. Mind you, since the tabs are in this thread I could see about adapting it to mandolin (which I still need to retreive from my mom's place).

A band that was a derivative of a band I listened to a lot as a teenager.

Guess if I'm going to list the derivative I should post something from the main band.

The local radio station I listen to has a thing they call "Oh Wow, Wednesday" where they play songs that you may or may not have heard in a while, but they tend to evoke the statement of "Oh, Wo-o-ow". Yesterday they played a few that definitely fall into that category (at least for me) and I decided to try and share a couple.

This one needs no explanation or fancy video, it's just damn good.

I wasn't really satisfied with the various tracks presented on YouTube for this next one so this is kind of a best of a bad situation presentation. Sorry about that.

Well Kyuu... this girl would probably laugh herself silly....

I prefer songs more like these

The Verve - Bittersweet Symphony

Bloodhound gang - Bad Touch (ok this one always makes me giggle anyway) and not because the video is just so freaking strange :P

Saliva - Survival of the Sickest ... man that one line gets me every time :)
but I'm not telling which one >,<

Rage Against the Machine - Bulls on Parade..
My buddy's band covers this one.. and I'm always on the dance floor when this one's on :P

And can't go wrong with the classics
ACDC - Hells Bells & Thunderstruck
And yes I've seen them in concers... awesome :)

Black Sabbath - NIB.. ohh with Vampire Hunter D video... cool :D

the code would be
