| I wanted to love this show I really did. But the censoring, yeah yeah I know *yawn* and the way the material is changing left right and centre is just annoying as hell. They have such a great source material and yet they just seem to be effing it up. |

| That event there sure was heartbreaking, and it involved a lot of character development, from Kaneki and later from Touka and Amon after she decided to went ballistic. However after reading the manga I cannot bear myself to really hate Mado, as ruthless as he was. |

| Well, even Kaneki was thinking to himself "why am I going there, there is nothing I can do". I'm telling you guys, don't jump the gun. That moment of him not being able to help Hinami's mother was a pretty important moment for his development. The shower scene should have made that apparent. |

| The censorship is really annoying, we shouldn't have to make reference to the manga to see how the mom died. Next episode looks interesting, we finally get to see the mask on. |

| Does anyone else smell fresh meat? Because this show is so fucking butchered. ermm, anyway, the usual censoring and skipping stuff just like the last 6 episodes. Kinda pissed they skipped the part where they dress up as high school kids and go to CCG. Mainly because they show off how Kaneki can get through the RC scanner there. Hopefully they throw it in quick next episode. Dumbest edit by far was the mask scene. In the manga Ken is like "woah there, the fuq is this? Wow look at this mask", but now they try to make him look like an instant badass in it. |

On the anime they don't make it clear on how Ghouls fear from getting their covers blow up. .. In this last ep i missed the scene where I also felt that the overall Anime characters are just too bland and flat, there no evolution on Touka and Kaneki characters if you compare to what happens in the Manga, for example her being late by 2 hours in their first "date", and then on their next "dates" she starts to get there on time, what show that she is starting to care more about Kaneki, what make the church event even more important when she says "Nothing here belongs to you!". Because on the Manga she treats Kaneki like shit at the early chapters |

| my morality is blurred when it comes to this show. touka should've thought things through though before acting. kaneki's mask is great. it seems like the action will start picking up now. i'm looking forward to the next episode |

| Poor Ryouko, got decapitated :( Well, I was pretty sure Ken would not be able to do anything, without a mask, their normal life is condemned. Amon is a pretty neat character. I thought he would be a cold fanatic, but does have a heart. He also seem to have a lot of respect for Mado, no matter what people tell about him. So now we know where their Quinque come from. They extract it from death ghoul I guess. Pretty creepy. Touka looked really weak against Mado. That man is a damn monster, talking casually while fighting an obviously experienced ghoul. Ken mask is really clever. By hidding his right eye, they hide the fact that he his a semi-ghoul. Also, his look is dope as fuck. Since Ken doesn't want to kill (yet I hope), I guess they'll try to lure them into another district. New artwork in the ED. They are better than the last ones IMO. |

| Wow i'm pretty annoyed by this show. I can't get into the drama and i'm still confused about how this world works. Honestly how big of a problem are ghouls and does the government treat this conflict like a war? Because Kaneki didn't know much about ghoul's until recently, and it makes no sense to me that people can just live happy lives with ghouls on the prowl. At some point wouldn't everybody know someone who was eaten by a ghoul? The ghoul society just seems parasitic and even with psycho's like Mado on this side I can't help but root for the CCG to exterminate them. And the drama doesn't ring true with characters I just don't care for. The show peaked for me with Nishio's story-line, and by the end of that I was kind of disappointed. I really don't care for Kaneki or Touka, but I am kind of interested in side characters like Uta. This show can be a drag, but I just need to expect less from it. It's funny that the nicest ghouls would be happy if they were just human. I'd rather sympathize with humans than human-like ghouls. The show would be more fun if they were just monsters. Yeah, I kind of miss that gourmet guy. |
| I think its kinda ridiculous how these detectives are so smart but they cant even realize the simplest concept that maybe they ghouls fight for their loved ones too? I mean he saw a girl run away from her mom and then watched as her mom get butchered... but he feels sorry for the orphan walking by him...? Ultimate face palm I think they should have made a better reason to establish a "war". Its like watching dumb ass gang war. Other than that I've been enjoying the series though especially the first 4 episodes or so. |

| Yeah, Kaneki's mask is freaky for sure. Anyways, is Touka an S-Rank? Because Gourmet is seemingly one, and she beat him up. I kinda do get people's frustration with the censorship. I'd probably watch the BD when it comes out, but I just can't wait until then so I'm sticking with this release for now. |

| I've decided I like the ending a whole lot, with those artworks that garnish it nicely. I also like the sub-urban setting and atmosphere this anime has. Regarding the characters, I do not feel fanatical over some. Kaneki as the main character right now is easily obscured pretty much by everyone else. After his transformation in a half-ghoul he remained static. Touka isn't a dislikeable characters, but the only thing(s) that lends her positive feelings are her appearence (hot) and her aura, which is quite alluring, dark. All we know is that she's constantly mad about someone (most likely the doves) because they presumably killed someone dear to her, so she hasn't much substance right now. All the other supportings if given the right amount of screentime could be really badass and interesting. But I think this show has some truly great villains, like Gourmet who was incredibly fool and obsessed, as well as Mado the investigator, who has the typical attitude of a douche but we can't blame him about what he does. |

| I actually kinda liked how this episode ended and the reveal of Kaneki's mask. I wasn't too aggravated by how they cut out the scene where Touka and Ken go to the CCG base, which is actually consistent with the very fast pacing of the adaptation. The fight scene was overall okay-ish, but the small Rabbit v. Mado bit looked great (would've been better if Pierrot was able to keep at the very least that level of quality for the other fights). Not much else to say really. Perfect Amon-kun abs tho. |

| They should've shown how Ryouko got killed.. that way the viewer's would feel more sympathy for Hinami but well *cough* fucking funimation. I wonder if they showed it in the manga. I see.. so that was his mask. I keep seeing a picture of him wearing that. |

What's the point of doing shit and apologizing later, if you're gonna apologize, don't do shit after people told you not to. My God plot armour for Amon, the wing could harm another ghoul but couldn't even scratch Amon LOL. Touka is just.. eww.. after people told her not to, she just went ahead, and will probably bring trouble back home. That Mado, out of all the ghouls he killed, he could really deduce or speculate that Touka is someone who knew the mom? Really? What a lame provocation cliche. Then her wing, once again, couldn't even scratch Mado? Serious-fucking-ly? The gourmet dude also blocked it, yet it pierced through his shield, and it had AoE range large enough to hurt the other part of his body. A youngster has less stamina than an oldie, alright, why not. Ahh I don't care anymore. The mask is pretty cool. |

Mado said that right before Touka ran out of stamina, still doesn't make much sense how a healthy-ish teenager has less stamina than an old man. Or maybe I am just pissed at Touka. |
