| The scene with Kou and Futaba alone in the classroom was nice. There was just this one thing that just bothered me greatly. It's when Futaba's noticing she feels nervous being with Kou and one of the things she mentions is How is that just a little?? I guess that's shoujo logic for ya ^^" I'm actually not a fan of the train scene. I would have find it more refreshing if Kou didn't got out of the train. Futaba would have realized she liked him either way. But of course he did and who wouldn't when the other person looks like she's about to burst into tears >.> |

Why is a guy in his mid-twenties recently starting to enjoy shoujo romance anime? There is great chemistry between those two, I am enjoying it as well. But Kou x Yuuri there is literally nothing. Yuuri will be definitely friendzoned. You don't go and tell everyone you love someone when you didn't even confess. I just wonder whether Yuuri would hate her if she told her as IRL this rivality over someone can end long friendship pretty easily. I guess the best for this series would be if Yuuri saw them together lovey in some dovey situation to realize their true relationship - as everything else would leave only a hatred and jealousy. But my bet is Murao will be the one who sees them. |

| Ahhh this "I can't like the same guy as my friend" BS is what I hate in shoujo manga. I'm always left asking: "why not?!" *smh* I'm sorry, Yuuri. You're not the female lead and side characters who try to get with the male lead are fated to get rejected. It's just how shoujo romance works. |

Classic shoujo, I guess you could say, but there's still many meaningful things to be learned from this anime. I think the most outstanding point is the discussion of the fine distinction between love and like, and friendship as well. This applies to all the character in the anime- Murao, Yuuri, and Futaba too. Even though they think that they are in love with the people they like, what really is the meaning of love? When does liking someone cross that line into loving them? Even for Futaba and Kou, it's not safe to say that they love each other. The line between like and love is never defined, it's something that's crossed unconsciously. We often attribute our feelings, usually crushes, on others, as love, but is it really? Love is a subjective term- everyone has a different definition of it, and thus it's really impossible to make a clear difference between love and like. Yuuri declares herself to be in love with Kou, but is it really love when they don't know many things about each other? Or is it too shallow to say that it's not love that she feels for him? It's all a matter of opinion, and I guess this anime is open to opinions of relationships- for me, it doesn't seem like "love" has blossomed yet. That's not to say that the flowers of love haven't begun to grow, though... "When you love someone, it makes you really happy, but it's hard in some ways too, isn't it?" |

| I squealed/fan girled so hard this episode. That train scene though. But I really like how it's following the manga almost perfectly! So many feels :) |
| Man this episode...got a bit teary eyed when futaba started building up on the whole "if he gets off I'll love him" scene. I just love how they executed that moment with him stepping off, it's like all of futaba's feelings that were already gushing out uncontrollably finally exploded at that moment. She was trying to use Yuuri as an excuse to give up on Kou and free herself of those complicated emotions that kept reminding her of why she loved him so much. I like how it was a moment of revelation for futaba but it was one she was already aware of. |

So stupid for not just telling Yuuri that she liked him bleh So much rage this episode, this was the first time I ever threw something because I was mad at an anime. | Oh my goodness.. this is going to be torture :( waiting every week for an episode >.< First new anime I watch in years and it has to be one that is currently premiering! aaaah! Anyway, I was very impressed by this episode. I really thought that they would play the "my friend is in love with him so I will back off" card waaay longer. So I was pleasantly surprised, I feel like so much is getting accomplished by each episode which leaves me wanting more because it feels so short! Obviously cried again, and going to rewatch it in a minute. I'm very surprised how much I love this anime- I'm even watching the opening theme each time and I usually skip those after watching it once... I cannot wait to see their relationship develop even further.. wish I had a time traveling machine.. |

| I used to think Yuuri was really funny and cute...but now I just really think she's annoying. She fell for Kou for stupid reasons where as Futaba knows he's not all what you see on the outside. Anyone that gets in Futaba and Kou's way will annoy me it seems xD |
| I love how dramatic this shoujo anime is! Is it just me or it's different from other animes in its genre? Maybe because it's been ages since I last found a shoujo anime worth watching, but I've never been hooked on a shoujo like this before! The feels >.< ♡♡♡ This better have a second season. Is it popular in Japan though? |

| This series is really consistent at getting tugging on the little pangs of the heart. *sigh* And I'm really conflicted as well. I can't imagine Yuuri's face when she find out =/ She should've told her the truth in the beginning but of course they're so young.. it's hard to blame them. I'm not sure who I want to root for. Yuuri is definitely cute when she's crushing but Yoshioka has so much past history and the main monologue is from her which raises my attachment level. Ughhhh >.< No matter what this won't end well. xD |

| I liked this episode - it was perhaps one of the best episodes until now (for a reason or another, I loved this one more than the others). I enjoyed Futaba's struggle: she knew already she liked Kou, but she needed a confirmation, and she got it. She was extremely cute while doing this, and I liked how honestly she pointed out (about herself) that she was a liar, that she knew all along, but... well, things like this happen. I liked her behaviour a lot, and i was also hoping for Kou to get off the train and look at her. At this point, of course I believe Kou likes her as much as she does, but ...well, there are things we don't know about Kou's past, things that happened and made him be like he is. Maybe he wants to be liked for what he is now, or who knows? Maybe he has denied too many things... I just got the feeling, even from the start, that he kept liking her and that he still likes her even now... And I am wondering about all those complicated things that will soon be revealed (probably). I don't dislike Yuuri, as many of you have pointed out. I don't (yet?) find her annoying. She is cute, indeed - even though she pretends most of the time, I still think she is cute (very womanly, she has a sort of cuteness/adorableness spell on her, I really like that about her). However, I am not saying that I favour her cause or anything - but I don't think her liking Kou is entirely superficial. She told Futaba that, well, she's been into Kou for a while, but that thing from the camp was what made her fall in love with him for real. So it's not like he was just nice to her and she suddenly started to love him, but rather she got the confirmation she needed and her heart started to beat for the guy. Sh*t happens, what can we do. Whether Yuuri is a hypocrite or not, well, that much I don't know - she has a hypocrite part in her, because she said she wanted to look cute and be liked by the guys, and I suppose she's making efforts in that way. But still, she recognised it and was sincere about it. I can't say anything ultimate about her because I still don't know ”everything”, or whatever. I have read some chapters of the manga long ago, and don't remember most of it, so... anyway, the idea is that at present I don't dislike Yuuri and I don't find her annoying or disturbing at all. I am curious what will happen next. I sort of got the feeling that Futaba won't tell Yuuri about her feelings. I think that's the right thing to do, to go there and tell Yuuri that she also likes ”Mabuchi-kun”. I believe, however, that Futaba won't have the courage/heart to do something like this, and she will keep her love to herself -and a lot of dramatic things are about to happen, if we are to follow that line of thought. I am really curious about it, as I know Futaba really wants to make friends and perhaps be friends with Yuuri. I wonder how Yuuri will feel (she'l probably feel betrayed or something), but what can we do? I am so looking forward to whatever Futaba will do about it. This was a nice episode! :) |

| Ngawww. Early in the episode, when Fubata was talking about Kou and then he kinda did a headlock on her. As 'mean' as it looks, its kinda sweet. It goes to show how comfortable he is with her and the friendship foundation --which he will refuse to admit--- is showing and blossoming. xD In regards to Yuuri. In comparison to other stories with love triangles in it, this love triangle isnt as annoying. Her love for kou is sweet and innocent and she doesnt aim to take Kou away from Futaba. Its just Fubata which is kinda overthinking which makes sense cause she doesnt wanna lose Yuuris pure friendship for the sake of her love. This is an 'honest' rivalry :3 |

| I'm glad it didn't take more than 1 episode for Futaba to decide whether or not to pursue Kou. I was worried we'd be in for a painful show where she starts awkwardly avoiding him all the time. I loved the train scene and had a big silly grin when she saw he had got off it. |

| Yeah Yuuri hasn't got a chance, Futaba all the wayyy. Paced itself a little slowly this episode, but the train scene was a highlight even though we all knew what was going to happen. Heck imagine he just stayed on, absolute troll. Drama building up, dropping the bomb shell with Yuuri and Futaba in the next 1 or 2 episodes I would reckon. I wish this wasn't just a one-cour because I kinda really want to see their relationship fold out now. Good ep overall. |

| Jee it must have felt like a relentless slaps to the face for Futaba having to answer Yuuri's question about Kou. Although to be fair on her she really did put herself in a awkward shoe. Silly of her to become a little panicky when she was asked if she liked him but thats understandable, even adults still do lose their composure when put on the spot like that Love myself some inner monologue. Was laughing to myself wondering what thoughts would be going through Kou's head. What a bother it must have been to be getting such nothing responses from Futaba, while she was in another state of mind, figuring out what would be the deal sealer Now i await for the OST release & the next ep, seriously enjoying the pacing and balance between romance/comedy |
