It's a good thing that characters can die in combat,because it makes fight more engaging. I hate it when the entire cast is protected by plot armor 100% of the time. |

| Lmao that stupid death scene. Seriously, she had at most 10 minutes of development in the entire show, are the writers actually expecting us to care so much about her that she deserves that lengthy dying monologue and all those random flashback montages? I was happy the Justice-chick appeared last episode because she seemed like a sane, likeable antagonist who had the potential to make Tatsumi and the others question their goals or realize not everyone in the imperial army is evil but noooooo, she turns out to be completely psycho just like the rest of the villains. Credit where credit is due though, the fight scenes in this episode were fast-paced, actually had tension to them and were generally pretty fun to watch. The show may have terrible writing but hey, decent animators actually make up for it somewhat. |

| Tatsumi seemed more shocked at Sheele's death who he only knew for a few days or weeks than his old friends Ieyasu and Sayo during the first episode which is lame af. Anyway decent episode but hopefully it will get better cause so far it is pretty mediocre. |

| Based KanaHana doing based Seryu (who was waifu-tier in this episode), and Koro is kawaii as fuck. This could perfectly summarize the entire episode. Sheele was boring, but unfortunately, we will not listen again to Mamiko Noto in this series, that's a pity :(. Mine on the other hand, has a very annoying voice, that screams are painful to hear. And remember, folks, psycho KanaHana is best KanaHana. |

I knew people were gonna be dying at points that you wouldn't think they would normally (according to most anime tropes, anyway), but for one, they picked a character who got exactly one episode of character development, then they show a bunch of happy "life flashes before your eyes" memories? It's like, why couldn't they expend just one more episode actually showing some of those as flashbacks or something? Hell, we don't even know much about her weapon! At this point, the only way to learn about it is gonna be if one of the bad guys gets it and monologues about how it works. Seriously, this is total bullshit. I would have rather had Mine die. (I'm not saying I really like Sheele, and I'm not saying I really hate Mine. I'm just saying that this death and the way/time it was handled was bullshit.) |
