Aldnoah.Zero Season One
| After having a quick nosey around both Wikipedia and my anime list at an attempts to find out what could cause him to be the emotional brick he is, I stumbled across this interesting quote. Although I guessed that would've been the case, i was wondering if anyone else knew (that would make me starting this topic 10x more awkward) and how you think the character development will be done based on that. |

Now, allow me to explain for a moment: one of the first things you're supposed to do when writing up important characters is that you're supposed to give them quirks, in order to make them more memorable and seem more believable as human beings, as opposed to being flat, one-dimensional, plot-moving devices (a la Steven Moffat). This isn't me making up shit, either -- it's one of the basics they teach you in any script/fiction writing class. With Inaho, it feels to me as if they were in a meeting one day, when someone pointed out "Hey, he doesn't have a quirk. What did you have for lunch today, Urobuchi-san?" "I had omu-raisu" "Okay, Inaho's quirk is that he likes eggs." Now, I don't know if it went down like this, but that's for sure how it feels to me. tl;dr -- there's probably a reason they wrote his egg-fetish in, even if it's a really bad one. |

It's even on Wikipedia too, I couldn't help but laugh a bit. I do feel your comments above could happen, losing his sister will, in my eyes be a real true test of his character, as well as the writing of it. I'd be happier to see him have a past where he was a happy child and he's mentally scarred due to the parents death, but only time will tell I guess |
