| I find the clubs pretty obscure on this site. As in, there's really no easily accessible place to see them compared to the forums. And because of such, most clubs seems really dead, likely because many other users have no idea how to easily access it either. When I was a mod, there was a lot of erotic roleplay clubs that came to our attention which is kind of hilarious, but their quality is even lower than random fanfics out there. |

Clubs are great features if they are designed correctly. May be i am picky but i have a certain vision for how things should work :) I've used MAL clubs a bit but i am not fond of the outdated design and its lack of features. | I'm still wondering why people keep creating new clubs when those clubs can only be alive for a few months. Apparently, regular members get easily tired of them, and I can't blame them. Chatting with the same people everyday about the same things sure is depressing after some months. Though it's still sad when suddenly everyone leaves, as if those "friends" were no longer interested in chatting with each other. |

| I'm active (ish) in the club "The Anime Guild" which focuses on seasonal anime and has polls, competitions, discussions and other stuff. It's pretty well-organized and I like it. Not super active other than on a game-thread and giving some first impressions. I joined it this year i think. |

| I've been through a dozen, they are a good idea for keeping people you don't want to see busy, otherwise there wasn't anything very interesting about them, some even have the same "forum games" of your regular fg forum |
