Good episode. I like how Yaya comes forward a bit but still retains some jealousy.

Hell if Hana is impressed, I'd be too. Good to know more about Tami's family this episode too. Her dance is graceful imo and her growth with the other characters develops herself even more.

Tami is much more nicer to the three then Machi tbh. So Naru knows Tami and Yaya since she was little, she has so many blushes when she is embarrassed. Little backstory on Tami from her father.

Wow Tami is pretty flexible and a pretty good dancer. Guess they want to recruit her from the Yosakoi club. She is basically conflicted about her father on some stuff.

I like how the episode focuses on Tami and her conflict from the past.

I liked that far better than the previous episodes.

Seems she's figured out she needs to do things for herself. Obviously for the story she'll get her father's permission, though maybe not approval.

Cuteness overload again, The majority of the episode was targeted at Tami who is deeply admired by Naru. It seems as though Tami lives a very busy life trying to be the perfect Nishimikado daughter. Very good episode once again.

Naru giving those encouraging words to Tami.

Yaya somehow being jealous to Tami.

They are going to check out a yosakoi performance next episode. Can't wait for Student Council President to join the club.

Tami being a Fathercon was unexpected XD

Tami's ballet was pretty and she's so cute :3

+1 to Hana's harem XDXD She just knows how to push the right buttons on these girls XD Well tbh I don't know if this is Hana's Harem or Naru's XD Both girls are loved by all the others :P

Having someone look up to you can be a burden, but it can also be the source of motivation to do better. It was great to see, in just one episode, that Tami matures from being daddy's little princess to being an independent girl.

Although this show is full of the typical -deres, I think it's a cute and simple anime that's nice to watch once in awhile.

CRAAAAWLING IIIIN MY SKIIIN...

I'm glad that Machi had some likable moments, in the previous episode she really set off the NO FUN IS ALLOWED bitch stereotype, hopefully she'll mellow out enough to be tolerable.

Also, I can't call this show subtext anymore, the yuri is too strong. 4/5.

This show got surprisingly emotional which I didn't expect from this type of genre
because I rarely see it. This may be one of the better type of shows depending on where it goes.

We got an episode dedicated to Tami. This was a really good episode, didn't expect the feels at all.
I'm so looking forward to seeing all the girls dance yosakoi.

So Tami-oneechan was more worried about her father then she was about other things.
And she had a feeling she didn't like and needed to make up her mind, judging from this ending she will probably join the club next week.
But wether her father will except it is a different matter.

Teared up, the perfect princess is just a mask for someone else's pride, not personal happiness.
Heartwarming and cute, Naru being very supportive, Hana being inspiring and Tami finally surfacing from the river she fell in.

5/5 Hits home, self-esteem issues tend to do that.

Best ep so far,
My mind was blown when Tami put her leg over her head,
And when naru fell and curled up into a ball was slightly funny.

It's getting better, still hoping the dance is gonna be amazeballz so I don't get very disappointed and end up giving this show a very low rating.

Needless to say, I finish all anime I start, no matter my initial opinion, no matter how bad it gets, I WILL FINISH IT!

Great character developement in this episode.

The club is nearly assembled, they just need one more member and an advisor.

You can see how much Naru's changed.

It was great that she removed the shackles that were around Tami. Just in time too.

Glad that Tami stood up to her father.

This is a surprisingly good show. Relatable too. Self-esteem issues. Acceptance from your parents. All in all, decent character development, and I honestly didn't expect that going into this show. I thought it was going to be nothing but fluff. Glad I was wrong.

Also, yuri. Gotta mention the yuri.

Great feels episode. Probably the most intense one so far and it really built the girls character a little further than the generic moeblobs they appeared to be originally. This is one of my sleeper hits of the season after this episode. Can't wait for more.

A bit more of a serious episode compared to the previous ones... and it was really good.

The development of Tami's character, and her internal struggles were portrayed really nicely. It's probably rather frightening when u realise that not everythig u want to do is necessarily what the ones u care for most really want.

I know that president was a b!tch last week, but she does seem like a good friend to Tami. I'm wondering how the ever so awesome Hana will get that President to join. That'd be fun to watch XD

Just one tiny little thing..., Naru's speech was a little cheezy at the end, haha.

Anyways, this show is shapin up to be one of the best this season. The pace is a little slow, but the show's doing a great job fleshin ot all their characters. I'mettig impatient for when the Yosakoi dances come in tho xp
The most annoying thing about some anime is that they don't know when they've died...

That ending scene was really nice. Tami's going to start doing what she enjoys instead of just trying to impress her father. Naru is a great friend.

Tami has a rather typical back story for that kind of character, but that doesn't mean I didn't love the episode. They expressed it in a way that was entertaining, and still managed to pull on the heartstrings despite the trope being as old as dirt.

I'm still loving this show. I hope we do get to see some awesome dancing by the end, but as of now, I like the way it is so far!

Hana's bluntness comes through again. Naru badly wants Tami to dance with them, but she lacks the confidence to ask directly. It looks like Tami will be part of the club next week, since her final request to speak to her father implies that she has reconsidered Hana's tactless, sharp-toothed, begging. It does make Hana a rather cool charater; she serves as a catalyst allowing the Naru, Tami, Yaya, and (later) the prez , to do what they otherwise would not do on their own.

So the first thing Naru sees during Tami's ballet demo is her underwear? You go girl!
And that Hana's invitation feels like confession of love. Which is a good thing.

despite Tami being the usual Oujo-sama archetype i still like the way this series handles it's character development and even with it's chessy moments it was still well done.

also i can't get Kyouko Toshinou out of my head everytime she talks lol.

do find it funny Hana is building her yuri harem wonder what the kind of nightmare i'd be trying to get machi to join

Please do not post very short replies/reactions. Be more descriptive about what you did or did not like.

This was a cute episode with a character that I find is very easy to relate too... especially if you have very strict parents yourself.

I felt that the soundtrack played during the part where Naru walked Tami home was a bit... off? I think the lack of background music made that stand out a lot more and made it seem like an event was going to happen (I was expecting them to walk past Hana practicing or something).

So who will be the fourth? Yaya or Machi?
Money is on Machi.

If Naru was a guy, the bridge scene would have been a confession :D

Hana's impressed with Tami's form. On the other hand, Naru was busy looking at Tami's underwear XD!

I'm really impressed with Naru's growth. She was so shy and a bit useless in the first episode but now she's willing to be someone's pillar of support. She still faceplants like a pro though and she's added the fetal position to her repertoire lmao.

Dammit! I want to see Tami's "White lace with ribbons" thing so bad.

On the other hand, Tami's development here pull some strings to me, "like finding your happiness", Not giving up on your goals, and "having someone who accepts your choices, who'll smile and cry along with you is a wonderful thing". It really struck me hard

My top highlights that I really enjoyed this episode:

1) Jealous Yaya
2) Naru being Naru <3
3) Tami's conflict and her heart-to-heart with Naru! It was surprisingly very touching even though this scenario isn't unfamiliar in most animes.

Go Prince Naru!

Cliche ojou-sama character and cheesy drama but this shows that when typical things are executed the right way, everything became smooth and not at all cringe-inducing.

I love how the girls aren't just your typical moe girls who usually have very little to no depth to their character. They really went all the way to build each character and it justifies the slow pace. I'm excited to see what's in store for Yaya and the student council president, who doesn't seem bitchy at all in this episode.

Loving Tami, definitely among my favs <3 Love how she pops out of nowhere. Fatheron haha, that's what I thought as well.

Loved seeing Naru working so hard.

"White lace with ribbons. " xD

Those turns were beautiful.

And see? Machi isn't bad, very likable and relatable. People love making a fuss when nothing has even begun.

That was deep there. I love how everyone is so relatable in this show. Man, I loved Naru there, proud of her!

That transition scene was perfect.

Absolutely lovable episode. Loved that preview.

not saying that the good theme isn't there, but they are all drama queens. pls stick with the comedy

^ This. I can't get used to the voices at all. In fact, I find myself grinding my teeth occasionally due to how annoyingly squeaky they can be. The drama feels forced too, especially in this episode with Tami. So far I enjoyed the first episode the most. I just hope there won't be any drama with that bitchy student council president because of Tami joining the Yosakoi club, though there probably will be.

With that said, it's still a decent anime and the surroundings/environment looks absolutely stunning.
