| I had 2 predictions when she was about to be sliced: 1. Tatsumi will jump up and save snap her out of the illusion and 2. she will attack anyways. Some of the scenes are really bloody and then the comedy ruins it. The difference between really bloody scenes and comedy is just too dam' high reason why it doesn't really fit. It's like watching 2 versions of the same anime. 8.5/10 because all that action. |

The comedy was in the beginning with Night Raid's downtime while Zank's fight had no comedy whatsoever. Just saying that the tones are kept separate from one another. |
| What a great episode! Sayo spotted... But, she's just a deception. Illusions, illusions everywhere. The fighting scenes are so intense! I'm so glad that Tatsumi is not an overpowered MC and has some weaknesses too but not that a weakling one also. And I'm also glad that Akame comes to save our hero in the story. RIP, Zank. At least you're now peaceful that you won't hear the voices of your victims anymore. "Arigatou, Akame." -Zank's last words. Dat moment between Tatsumi and Akame. They are so sweet and adorable. <3 |

| I think they were a bit hasty to tell Tatsumi about all their secrets. What the hell he did to win their trust anyway ? So the best Tatsumi can do is to scratch Zank's face ? he's so lame. -_- |

| I'm loving this show! Ah, such a great episode! I'm really enjoying this! Zank was a pretty sick villain.Tatsumi did a great job against Zank, he put up a fight towards the end of their fight. Akame was absolutely badass! Akame is a badass bitch! I love Akame! She kicked ass this episode, I like how she's developing and how she's showing that she has a heart and that she cares for everyone but when she fights she doesn't give a damn! Oh and that quote "it's because i loved her most that I wanted to kill her as swiftly as possible" what an amazing quote! That was a badass moment when Akame had no hesitations when she went to attack Zank who she thought was her sister. Akame's caring but ruthless too, she has no remorse to anyone she's ever killed. It was a perfect ending when Zank thanked her for killing him which thus stopped the voices, it was a nice ending. Great episode, perfect episode for me! Loved this episode! Also, I'm glad that they explained the Imperial Arms and I can't wait for Tatsumi to get an Imperial Arms weapon because he'll be a complete beast! 5/5. |

| I'm getting used to the OP! (^_^) Lol, Akame cooks a lot just to eat a lot. Zank appears! He happens to be the owner of one of the 48 Imperial Arms, Spectator. Night Raid however owns Murasame, Lionelle, Pumpkin, Incursio, Cross Tail, & Ecstasy. That's 7 down and 41 more to go. Hmm, it seems that Kurome is Akame's sister. Also, Tatsumi is precious to Akame! |

| 4/5 Episode that raises the bar, reaching even slightly, a new goal, to make the plot more interesting and give more involvement during the action scenes. In addition to narrative and plot, the designs and animations are good, but a further improvement would be appreciated. The characters are still missing, still remaining a bit anonymous. |

| Akame and that dude's swordfight was awesome! I can almost feel the pressure of each blows! I swear the fight scenes in this show are one of the bests I've seen. Judging by her looks and well.. her name I think Kurome is Akame's sister. But then how can she..? wow.. |

| Best episode so far. We learned about the Imperial Arms and get and how many more we a re going to see. The fight scene was really good.Finally a woth oppnent for Night raid. Zank was an alright villain considering that he wasn't around for only this episode. Getting a hint on Akame's backstory was also nice. |

I don't want to be that guy but... Akame is the only good thing of this episode. I can't feel any attachment to Tatsumi as a MC. Also, there was unnecessary fanservice showing Akame's underwear. I mean was it really necessary? The episodes seem too episodic for my taste. Each episode brings a new generic enemy out of nowhere to kill and done. Next episode. Also, so far each episode looks like a personal alone time of Tatsumi with each different waifu. Not a harem, but harem-like. It's certainly killing the tension of the first episode, at least for me. By the way, did anyone else picked up the deathflags? They were so clear... PD: A bit late to say this but, I like the OP music but not the visuals. The ED musics is good too, it reminds me the first ED of Shingeki no Kyojin, and the visuals are ok-ish. |

| Starting with the obvious: the tone is still all over the place. One moment a random woman is beheaded by the villain frothing at the mouth, next moment Tatsumi and Akame goof off while making breakfast. This is such a core issue with the previous episodes that there's just no meaning in pointing it out anymore. |

| Them explaining the Teigu reminded me of the Katanagatari swords, felt so similar. This show really is all over the place lol |

| Finally, Akame engaged in a proper fight, although I found Zank's Teigu not very interesting like the other ones shown. Still can't stand Tatsumi and Akame is definitely waifu. |

| The fight against Zank was pretty good, nice developpement for Akame in this episode, she's badass, I wonder who was the person she saw in the illusion, it's her little sister I guess. |
