| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- That guy was kind of funny. But challenging Momoka is not a good idea. Ever. Momoka really will use any method. And then just carry on as if nothing had happened. And Momoka changes her appearance to match the guy at the arcade? Banana cult! Just what actually is that platy thing? I guess we'll never know. Mokarin actually lost? To her mother no less, who seems to have an impossible ability to get around the house. Then again, it didn't matter as she still got her way. Lol at that bit after the ending. Send in pictures of your pet platypus! Would be funny if someone actually did it... | That episode had me riveted from start to finish. This show never gets old. One important point of explanation. The law regarding airsoft guns varies quite a lot from country to country. In Japan, adolescents can only use guns which are limited to a kinetic energy of 0.135 Joules. However, adults can use guns with 1 Joule. Clearly that is vastly more powerful, which is why it made sense that Momoka's mom was able to shoot all of those holes in the floor. See here for many more details: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legal_issues_in_airsoft I did not check through that webpage systematically, but my impression is that the country which allows the most powerful airsoft guns in the world is Poland. They permit a kinetic energy of up to 17 Joules. - - - - - - - - It was good to see their explanation of their yellow duck-billed club mascot. His name is "Kamo" and he is a platypus, or "kamonohashi". So that is where his name "kamo" comes from. While "kamonohashi" is most often written in Japanese as カモノハシ, it can also be written using kanji as 鴨の嘴. So it simply means "mouth like a duck". And of course that is a perfect summary of the most noticeable feature of the platypus. By itself, "kamo" means duck. So earlier in the series when I heard Miou call him "Kamo", I figured that he was simply a duck. But now everything is clear. |

| Another hilarious episode. All three parts had me laughing!! Momoka just bashing the guy with her gun was hilarious, after Miou gave her some Yoda like inspiration . This is why I love Momoka as the MC. She's turning out to be my favourite MC of the season. Though she ended up taking pictures with him, which made me laugh even more. Platy's a boss. Doing the moonwalk, and staring down a dog. The sequence with the mother caught me off guard, no one messes on her home turf. Platy's a bro for eating Momoka's broccoli. And sorry narrator, I don't have a pet platypus so no picture from me. :( |
| Hilarious episode! Momoka being ruthless again. Urara as always, being a masochist. She explained Momoka is always hitting her 5 times that looks like just one hit. Momoka became fat. Her mother really likes her chubby. Feeding those desserts. Platy flexing his muscle. In the end, Platy ate Momoka's broccoli. |

| Evidently, the meta reference went right over CR's head. At 16:49 Miou says: ここ二話ほど我が家で見かけないと思ったら。 CR probably mistook ここ二話(koko niwa) for ここには(koko ni ha), and accordingly translated to "I knew I hadn't seen him around here lately." To which the narrator retorts: "Don't say "around here"!" which makes no sense in this context. What she actually said was, "I had a feeling that I hadn't seen him at my house since around episode two" and the narrator followed-up with a "Don't say stuff like "episode two"" |

| Arcade duel in the beginning was great. Momoka being Momoka again, using underhanded tactics to win anyways. XD Her sympathizing with that megane otaku was pretty cool though! Damn. Chubby Momoka was quite disgusting to watch. Even banana diet didn't help. :O Wait, she actually strikes the same spot on Urara five times at once? That's fast! Survival game diet is the way to go! But as long as her mother insist on seeing her tubby, the cycle would most likely continue.. That platty is badass! That look he gave towards that barking dog, like a boss! Mother vs. Daughter was a pretty awesome segment. Totally didn't expect Momoka's mom to be a badass too! She got owned for the first time! XD Fun episode! I wonder if Momoka's mom used to belong to a survival game club too. Probably so! |

| This show continues to be hilarious and my AOTS. The mother suddenly pulling a gun on Momoka over broccoli was probably the highlight of the episode. I still want to know more about Maya - I feel like she has the least defined character of anyone in the show. Kayo could stand to have more information about her presented as well. |

| Oh man, such a funny episode as usual. Platy and the Mommy are pretty much the spotlight in here XD. IDK why, but seeing Momoka overweight just makes me feel uneasy on that segment, though her mom likes her being chubby XD. The gunfight between daughter and mom was pretty random but funny at the same time. LOL Platy was unique then any other platypus, he could do the moonwalk XD. |

How she explained Momoka actually hits with 5 hits in a second was hilarious XD And the last part with Platy being BA enough to scare the dog and eat the broccoli and Momoka's MILF BA mom was awesome. | Momoka's mom is now MC's mom of the season. That's some quality parenting all right. Mokarin is still best MC (sorry mom).. No mercy whatsoever.. poor Fried Chicken Lemon. M-Urara getting depressed at not being hit enough was hilarious. This is definitely one of the funniest shows this season. |

| Hell yeah Momoka rocked there, only she can do something like that. Urara's explanation was hilarious. That toilet scene was hilarious! What's with all the hilarious toilet scenes? First Gekkan Shoujo now this. Glad she lost weight. That selfish mama xD Platy living with Momoka, and her not realizing it was HILARIOUS! Her mama's stereotype explanation are hilarious as well. "Good morning, Platy-san" damn it. Those Michael Jackson moves! I would kill Platy if he put my disliked food in my plate if he lived in my home against my permission but he ate it at end, so I would forgive him. Her mother with that gun xD Dat fight just for a broccoli and who fights in their house? hilarious. Great episode. Gave this show a 9 now. |

| Oh man, did i just see a Star Wars reference in there? Brilliant! the ecology lessons of platypuses was a fun segment. It wouldn't be a sabagebu unless there was at least one gun fight. Momoka's mum pulling out a revolver was surprisingly good. And to top it off, the mum wins! Keep her screen time to a limited manner, i like the mysterious/creepy vibe of her. And Platy, well hes just a true bro Watching Gekkan shoujo & sabagebu back-to-back is a good combination. Both the shows are full of wins |

She's truly the best lead in quite a while for this type of anime not to mention a total bad-ass capable of striking 5 times in the same spot with one hit XD I just love the nonchalant brutality in this anime. I don't know why but it's always funny to see exaggerated bleeding like the one happened to Urara. Her VA is really good at voicing her too! She has such a great range of voice. Probably the best episode so far. Every part was hilarious and I want a pet like Platy! |
