| I'm sticking with dub but I'm aware of the censoring. Sure enough, the scene where the goon sneaks up on Kaiba is 1000% cooler in sub. He takes down a gun with a card? Please tell me they stab each other with their hair at some point. I need this. There's a trend here as well - our heroes carry a photo of their cherished one with them on their person, whether wallet or badge. Joey with his sister, the Kaiba brothers, Yugi and his grandpa. How sweet. |

| Even back in the day, it'd be difficult to find a use for Gate Guardian in any deck. The secret rare is nice to look at though. Kaiba is on his way to save his brother. I guess he also learned to fight growing up. It's like the battle of the billionaires unfolding though. Pegasus dead ass kidnaps a kid and his older brother will save him by any means necessary. I guess the Abridged Series is right, "It's a shame rich megalomaniacs are immune from the law. Otherwise we could just call the police" |

Yes, because in the manga they were essentially 3 separate monsters in the same way that Fusion Monsters still counted as separate entities, which means that each piece of Gate Guardian had its own ability. This carried over into the anime, whereas the real life version of Gate Guardian was awfully underpowered. |
| Blocking that gun with a card was a pretty neat move. I love how the authors bend the rules in the most creatives of ways. |
