Where in the world is [s]Carmen Sandiego[/s] Jin Kobayashi?

Jin Kobayashi, most notably known as the mangaka of School Rumble, seems to be missing from the manga/anime scene. During the time of the School Rumble manga he also started work on Natsu no Arashi! which ended a few years later. His recent works haven't been too impressive either. Or so I guess from their short lives. He mostly did supporting artist type jobs after Natsu no Arashi!

Main question: what is he up to these days, and can we expect some big project from him like School Rumble was?

Maybe he's wandering off somewhere like Harima, I always wondered how much about Harima was a reflection of himself
