I myself use Maxthon. It is a build off of IE. I like all the feature it has and it can do way more things than firefox

Read about its features, and it sounded like they've just tried to make opera, only based on IE :p

The main thing I like about it is if I click and drag a link it opens in a new tab.

I mainly use :

IE and FF don't have problems to say so, ofcourse as someone mentioned before, there are just some sites that IE gets loaded better and easier then FF and vice versa, but honestly there is nothing wrong with either of them as far as I have been using them.

Tough I prefer FF mostly of the 2 because IE on the other hand gives me no break of the endless pop ups wich are just annoying like hell so too say.

I do that in Opera as well. If I drag i up, it opens in a new tab, if I drag it down, it opens in a new bakground tab, and if I drag it up and then down it opens in a new window! :)

Definitely Firefox, though I'm surprised Lolifox didn't make the list. I have it on my computer, but I don't really use it.

I've also got lolifox installed but i don't use it. No real reason here, just used to Firefox.
So i voted for Firefox, i've been using it for years and has never failed me. I used IE for the first few years ( since i got my first computer) and it kept pissing me off so in search of a better browser, i found Firefox. It can do everything i'll ever need and more + it's got alot of plugins and stuff, which can come in handy ...

I doubt ill ever see a better browser, so ...

Been using Opera actively for a while now. Until I started using Opera actively, I used Firefox. ... started using Firefox back when it was Firebird (Firebird was renamed to Firefox when it hit 1.0)

I use Opera. I used Firefox for the longest time until I was having troubles with it (a certain update decided to kill all my favorites and would no longer save new ones I put in) so I decided to try Opera. Ended up liking it's tab browsing (works differently then firefox) more and I like the integrated IRC so I sticked with it.

Been using Opera for a couple years now and it's never failed. For those tricky websites that force users to use IE or Firefox, I use Maxthon which is based off of MyIE2, very popular in China. I do use Konqueror when on Ubuntu, but not normally.

Well, don't know what is so relevent about this question, but I guess I will just say I switch between AOL (usually for email) and IE 7. Don't really care what it is, as long as it can surf the web.

I used to use that a long time ago... before Firefox came out, and before I found out about Firebird (Firefox in beta). It was good, but I hate that it runs on the IE engine, that is the reason I went away from that and MyIE2 (now known as Maxthon).

Ok, that is a little extreme... even though I agree that people really shouldn't use IE, its just (tries to think of a non-biased/opinionated word)... is way too insecure, and it does not render websites as other browsers

(Does not really mean anything, but IE7 fails at the Acid2 test. Opera renders it perfectly. Firefox also fails... just not as bad as IE7)

Firefox, because of extensions and because I'm used to how it works. But I don't really care what anyone else uses, browser zealotry, like OS zealotry is a kind of stupid I just can't comprehend.

Well said entropy, although I am very mildly curious to know what precisely makes people so fond of firefox. I use Opera and I like it much more, but then I got used to Opera first, after getting fed up with the shitness of IE. Perhaps it's just what you get used to.

It's also an incredible memory hog. Memory is not quite so cheap.

But I still use it because of the extensions.

I always use Internet Explorer ever since I can remember 1st time using a computer and surfing the web. I did tried Firefox but I never got hock on it.

I prefer IE and has a Webmaster, wich is actually my job by the way, I always do my works for Internet Explorer 1st than Firefox 2nd, 'cause most of the potential clients that are web surfing are still using Internet Explorer. No offence.
