Steely Dan makes an interesting debut with his Lovers Stand. I kinda like his role already in this episode. And his Stand, the Lovers imo is quite a dangerous one despite its size. | Haha, the entire döner kebab talk and Steely Dan introduction was fantastic. His voice actor is cool as well - overdramatic and absolutely loveable hateable, good job David Production! And is it just me or did DP experiment more with colors again? I hope they do because we need more of it in this adaption. Next time: |

| Enyaba meets a dreadful fate. Didn't think Dio would also put a flesh bud on her.. Those tentacles coming out of her eyes were creepy! >.< "The Lovers" is such a puny Stand, yet so dangerous. Poor Joseph.. Oh my God indeed! Kakyoin and Polnareff's teamwork seems to be going nicely. I like how calm Kakyoin remains in such a tensed situation. Tough guy! Damn. Seeing Jotaro getting humiliated was pretty hard to watch.. Can't wait the moment "The Lovers" is defeated and Jotaro beating the crap out of Dan. Some intense "ORAORAORAORA" incoming soon! Good episode. Really loved that OST playing towards the end of the episode! |

The most I've ever seen him XD He's gonna murder Dan so bad he won't be recognizable by the end of this hahahaha I gotta admit it was interesting and kinda fun seeing Jotaro helplessly obey commands lol. Joseph's negotiations at the start were so lol and the narration made it even funnier XD Loving how their travelling inside Joseph and his "OMG!" when he got his vessel cut XDXD I'm really surprised by how little censoring or technically none at all there was for the Enyaba death scene :O |

| Well that is certainly an interesting stand power. It makes sense why its called The Lovers as well. Since its sort of a paired stand, even if it is really weak. So now we get a Journey to the center of Joseph Joestar? That sort of unpredictability is what makes this show so much fun! Looking forward to Jotaro beating Steely Dan! |

| I love how many Steely Dan references there are in Jojo. (Aja, Steely Dan, Gaucho, Peg, plus Fagen and Becker themselves get a minor reference.) Araki has really good tastes in music to include so many in his work. I also love how Steely Dan's name got changed to the "Dan of Steel" in the subs. That is excellent. xD |
| Always loved the haggling scene, it's so true to life :-D. Overall great episode, Steely Dan's fight was always pretty entertaining. It's just a shame that most of the best scenes we'll need to wait another week for. |

| Ok finally had time to watch it. I've always loved "The Lovers" for what it's coming next, the build up of Jotaro's anger is absolutely hilarious, and you can clearly feel that shit is going to happen. Also, the colors, holy shit DP, stop being so fabulous. There were some amazing frames this episode around. HIPSTERMOONCAT said: You guys had better enjoy Stand shrinkage while it lasts. Cuz it's never used again. It's better this way, since it is quite messed up. While the concept might be really interesting, it goes against many principles that Araki stated previously. | This was one of the zaniest and and most entertaining battles from the manga, and I'm glad to see the anime hasn't changed that. And lol, Joseph's "OH MY GOD". Also, I'm continuing to love Stardust Crusaders 'travel brochure' segments. On this week's edition we have: HAGGLING AND DONER KEBABS. |
