My name means "darling" or "beloved". That's pretty cool, I guess.

Same.
Kronie is mai waifu.
Enema is my master.
Shadowslave13 is my loli milk provider.
Flume is my dark magic buddy cop sidekick™.
And Afshar was my first MAL friend ;-;

I have coveted these people, so that I may one day sacrifice them in the name of love.

Mine is Joseph. It means "God shall increase."
I'm not religious and I've been told that I shouldn't have kids by some people.
Others have told me that I'd make a great father, so I'm getting some mixed messages.

Apparently, my name means "to understand" or to "make meaning out of."

I'm usually too drunk to make meaning out of anything in the first place.

I'm called Annika. Apparently, it's a pet for of Anna, that means "graceful", so it should have pretty much the same meaning.
I love my name, I think it fits me quite well even if I don't really care about its meaning.

My name is Isaiah Lord Edward Harden.

I was named Isaiah after Isaiah Thomas, a basketball player my Dad really likes (he's even met him before).

Lord is because my family's super religious (but I'm agnostic).

Edward is after my grandfather Edward James Simmons.

And Harden is the last name of my father.

My name is Alejandra, and it means "Defender"

Well, I have a protective side when it comes to my close family and friends, so I guess it's kinda accurate for me lol

Uh, I was conceived under a willow tree, so my mother told me(damn exhibitionism), which is why I have the name Willow. Ive really contemplated hanging myself from that tree a few times, poetically making it a Weeping Willow Willow tree, heh. Guess that's it's revelance to my life :P dont think it has any deep meanings, the name willow, unlike most above which is a bummer ^~^"

All that glitters is gold
And she's buying a stairway to heaven
When she gets there she knows
If the stores are all closed
With a word she can get what she came for
Oh oh oh oh and she's buying a stairway to heaven

It's a combination of two different names. My parents liked them both so much that they couldn't choose. After some browsing on the Internet, my name means "fairy pool," lol.

Basically how my parents named me:
Parents: We'll name our son "Denvic" by combining both our names
*A girl child is born*
Parents: Darn, what should we name her?
*Some random saleswoman calls them*
Dad: What's your name?
Saleswoman: Lynette
Dad: We'll name her Lynette!

My parents don't even know what it means.

My first name has a very biblical meaning, it means " the heavenly city " , " heaven " or " the church of god ". It doesn't have any other special meaning to me. My parents are devoted christians, and they'll put the name of god anywhere they get the chance to.

My nickname means " river ", also no special personal meaning.

Both my names are very rare and uncommon in my country, and my first name isn't even in my language.

My mom named my first name after the greek goddess of peace because she studies Greek history and had a liking to the name. My last name is just a common asian last name. Eventually they shortened up my name to "Rin" because everyone was just too lazy to type my full name.

Ironically my real name and nickname have opposite meanings rip

Funnily enough, my last name means in Turkish 'study' or 'man of learning', and I hope to get into research in the academia.

They say name-determinism is a thing.

My name derives from the Latin word that means "life and vitality". The name was used by several early saints and martyrs. The rest remains unwritten.

My name has no meaning. It's supposed to be Shanice, but the freaking nurse misspelled it to Shanish, but Shanish is nicer. Thanks to my failass nurse. Haha!

My first name "Ryan" means king.

So after learning the meaning of my name, as a kid, I took it hella out of context and became a mini little narcissist. Because of that, growing up, I never had an issue with confidence because I carried myself like and felt like a "king" (minus all of the fancy robes and stuff like that). I just felt inherently better than those around me. I strove to be the best at everything: athletics, academics, games, etc. and hated losing.

For a while, in my preteen years, I just stopped using my real name because I was awoken to the reality that I was no better than those around me and that all humans have their strengths and flaws. I grew a lot and during my teen years I used my name again.

Moral of the story, my name definitely had an impact on how I perceived myself as a kid and created part of the foundation for the person I am today. However, today I don't feel that my name has much significance anymore and don't mind being called a variety of different things.
