Well, there are some, but those are short and far in between, so you can't watch Gintama with that in mind. It is mainly a comedy series to the point of being a parody of itself, with some drama and very little action. I can tell you though, if you keep watching it, it will be hard to let it go. |

| So-so episode. I can't help but compare Gintama to Sket Dance(even if Sket comes after it chronologically). The seriousness in Sket Dance is better than it is in Gintama, at least to now. Well, we'll see for the next episodes, but I really don't feel like Gintama can pull out something serious well enough. |

| Ah, I remember this from the beginning of the manga. Guess episodes 1-2 were a special like they said. Osae's voice sounds exactly how I imagined it :P Man, Gintoki sure says some pretty good lines sometimes huh? Looks like we'll be meeting Kagura next time. Her voice is a bit more ... annoying than I imagined it to be? Lol :P Oh god I just realized that she's the person that did Taiga and Aria and those annoying voices ... no wonder D; Shame she's voicing Kagura T_T |

| After having seen a majority of noteworthy JUMP title's I'm finally ready to dive into Gintama. |
| Getting hooked. I absolutely like how this show is always on verge of breaking 4th wall while delivering its insane comedy, impossible action and also touching moments. It's still far from being a masterpiece but this has potential to be mine regular relaxing show. |
