(well tbh most of the HxH blogs/tumblrs I found seem solely dedicated to either hardcore Killua worshipping or even more hardcore Hisoka worshipping. Aah, fangirlism...) Anyway, to answer the OP's question half seriously : I don't feel the need to ship them nor do I expect them to become a couple cause it's pretty clear to me that Togashi has already established their bond to be transcending that of romance of friendship. A bit like the Guts/Griffith relationship during the Golden Age, if you will. |

Hunter x Hunter is obviously a shounen manga/anime, not BL...however that doesn't mean that there can't be homosexual subtext in it (and c'mon, let's be serious, there's a lot of it, you have to either be blind or stupid not to notice). Also, this isn't Togashi's only work that has this kind of hints. So the possibility of Killua and Gon ending up together is not entirely absurd, on the contrary it could very well be...impeding. |
