Date A Live (light novel)
| As title suggests, anyone else absolutely hate Tohka and her character? For one, she is extremely dumb and sensitive, and very annoying to top it all off. I remember watching Date a Live S1 when it first came out, and I expected Tohka to be badass and a strong female, but how wrong am I? After I finished DAL S1, I had forgot about it until S2 came out, and I just am watching episode 1 now of the new season, and Tohka is still, as always, so damn annoying. I figure the only way I can stomach this show is cause I like Origami so much better (straight-forward, smart, serious), and she's basically the opposite of Tohka. |

| It was some stupid filler episode, aside from that Tohka is ok, I prefer Origami over her too, but I don't really hate anyone in the show ;/ |

| Don't hate her. She's cute and funny. She reminds me a bit of Ouka from Ore no Nounai Sentakushi ga. However, I don't like her as the main heroine at all. And she can get pretty annoying at times. Overall I'm neutral with her. |

| There is absolutely nothing wrong with her in my opinion, everything she does is tolerable to watch and to be honest, I think the way she acts is cute. |

| The only thing that I hate about her, is probably that she keeps on dominating everything related to Date a Live and there is no love for other girl characters like Kotori or Kurumi. We can see that in almost every promotional or product will always feature ONLY Tohka like the PS3 game. Also, the fact that all the openings of Date A Live is too focused on Tohka and Shido. While this is a harem type anime, I can't believe that they forced Tohka and Shido so much rather than giving all character the same share amount of togetherness in either the opening or the anime. |

| The only girl in Date A Live deserving of hate is Ellen Mira Mathers. I would say Jessica, but I guess she got her karma so it's fine (and her death was a little sad so I guess I didn't completely hate her) |

| This is a ancient thread, but I would say no. Tohka is a bit of the cliche innocent clueless type. I do not hate her character for that as she is far more interesting than characters like Mashiro from Sakurasou. I do not mind her getting jealous of other characters over Shido`s affection as she just dislikes getting cheated on. I do not care for characters who are ok with being cucked tbh. |
