| Well, sure, I've known some of them for 4 years now and in an age where many people do their RL communication solely via stuff like facebook, skype and sms I don't see how it matters if I actually ever met them, as long as I regularly spend time talking with them etc... |

| Not really. Bonds online tend to be ephemeral. Even in the real life most friendships don't lead to a strong bond. From my experience getting overly attached to any individual has consequences. Sooner or later the relationship becomes stale and for a lack of a better word, boring. I do value the input from individuals whether it be online or real life, and I enjoy spending some measure of time with them. I don't feel the need to invest on a strong emotional level though. In other words, if for one reason or another the individual were to inexplicably disappear, I may lament for a short time frame, but like many people I would move on. |
| Sure I do. I've met really amazing people here. And even I got to meet one of them in a mall. But the group of people I talk here, and I really appreciate, I can count them on the fingers of one hand. |

| I value and appreciate all the friendships I have made through MAL. There are users who I know I can rely on, and they can rely on me if the time calls for it. Some people on MAL are easier to talk to than IRL, simply due to us meeting due to similar hobbies and personalities. |

| Bonds on the Internet are a lot harder because people can simply disappear from a site and no one will ever know what happened to them, it's a lot harder to disappear like that IRL. That said I value some people on here, and there are some that I value a lot. One of them has basically left MAL, but we usually speak twice a week. For some reason I care a lot in the sense that I wasn't them to do well and I want the best to happen to them, despite how superficially I honestly know them. Then there are a couple of people that I want to hug because they are super kawaii. |

| Mm, it kinda depends really. I'm most likely never going to meet any of my friends I've made on MAL irl (except maybe one or two), so I'm not sure how long I can cherish these bonds. I'll make the most ouf of this as I can, I guess. Never know when I'm leaving or someone else is. |
