Mahou nee-san Yuri initially faces a hard time exorcising the Kaga Lion but manages to defeat it at the end. Those were some nice attacks though! Oh, so she spares the corrupt guy. Quite nice of someone as aggressive as her. New Mahou Shoujo next week from Mie Prefecture. Hope she's just as awesome. (^^)  |

IMO the lion artifact itself called the Magatsuhi to punish them for disrespecting tradition so both of them are that creature Yuri fought, the lion was the one looking at Yuri at the end and saying that it was okay to end them. A pretty good episode, the battle is very nice and drawings make it even nicer to see, not much happens beyond it, but as short as a whole is not bad. This arch was not so bad, I really liked the protagonist Yuri and his mascot, who knows what to expect next time.  |
Still prefer Rin's story but this was just as good.  |
Kijikawa knows that she's the Mahou Shoujo! I would love to see a full series with Yuri as the main character.  |
