| I watched both the season and in my opinion they are both the same. my meaning of same like the the full alchemist series. same story line but revised and made better. can someone explain if i am correct or if i am completely mistaken? |

| I only read the manga halfway after the Nue arc so I'm pretty sure Sennen Makyou follows the manga. As far as I know S1 feels more like introduction filler kind of thing instead of serious ones, and the story are different. S1 seems a bit irrelevant to the S2 tbh |

| season 1 losely followed the manga because the director was a huge kana fan and want her to have a major role due to that season one had a lot of changes season 2 got a new director who followed the manga better but the story of season 2 picks up where season 1 left off arc wise |
