This is the third OVA and fourth title in the Kono Danshi series with the first OVA Kono Danshi, Uchuujin to Tatakaemasu. and the second OVA Kono Danshi, Ningyo Hiroimashita. having been released in 2011 and 2012, respectively. The third title Kono Danshi, Akunin to Yobaremasu. is a drama CD released in 2013. | Woah so excited for this! Was waiting for Yamamoto Soubi to make another Kono Danshi ^^ I enjoyed both of the previous OVAs, especially the Ningyo one, and I'm sure the next one won't disappoint me. Her character design seems to have gotten more clean than the first two as well, but it's still distinctly her style. Can't wait! I agree with the others that although it's labeled as a BL, there's not much going on in it. There are different types, Kono Danshi series is very light on romance, there's always a bigger theme behind it, like loneliness, or questioning one's existence. But of course I can see if people don't want to watch it at all because they simply don't want to see two males that are really close together/maybe kiss. It is, after all, still targeted towards a certain demographic and maybe outside people's comfort zone :) |

The PV looks promising, I hope they don't stray too far away from the original style from the first two OVAs, I love the colorful and cute animation. And I hope they don't add a female main character like what they did with the drama CD. (though it doesn't look anything like it in the PV yet) |

When the PV came out for the drama CD, I thought it would be like the Kono Danshi OVAs and was a tad disappointed to hear that it was something different. At least we can expect the 4th installment of the Kono Danshi franchise to be like the 2 other OVAs :D |
