| I enjoyed this episode a lot. Kobato is a great character so far, the comedy made me lol several times and I like the design. The sound is also very good, with a nice OP/ED, and not to mention that Hanazawa Kana's voice fits Kobato as a character perfectly. Can't wait to see how this develops. |

| I decided to watch this because there aren't many other anime that interest me this season (Kuchu Buranko, Aoi Bungaku, possibly Letter Bee and that's about it) and it actually turned out to be quite nice, so I will continue to follow this series to see how it turns out. |

| I love Kobato Manga, but i always prefered to watch anime than read manga, although manga has always better art. i was seriously disappointed with the Voice actor of fujimoto, it doesnt suit him. But overall, i LOVED Kobato and Ioryogi :D cant wait to watch the next ep! |

| I really loved her singing. I don't get the problem as well. Anyway, great episode, awesome visual effects, and Kobato is just too cute. <3 If this goes on like this I'm gonna love it, that's for sure. |

| I must be in the minority that thought that Kobato's clumsiness/naivety was to the point of mental retardation. Not to mention I'm not too keen on her character archetype in the first place. She's probably worse than Tohru Honda from Fruits Basket. Currently in limbo for me, and will give 2 or 3 more episodes before deciding to continue this or not. Toy dog's pretty cool though. Reminds me of a feistier version of Kero. |

| Nice heartwarming, cute and unpretentious episode. Not a strange thing coming from CLAMP, but it ressembles Sakura or CLAMP School Detectives more than X/Tsubasa Chronicles/xxxHolic/Tokyo Babylon/RG Veda etc... Well, I prefer their more adult side for once, but I'll still watch some more eps, especially since Madhouse does a great job direction and animation wise on it. |

| It was very cute-I loved it ^^ But one thing I have a question about. I think I know what her name means, something close to "Young-Dove" But I could be wrong. I'm a beginner with Japanese, But I know Dobato is "Stupid-Dove" I think, and then there was the Dobato or Dobado(Can't remember which way it was spelled. I was wondering what that last one knows, if anyone here knows. She seemed to rather be called "Stupid-Dove" than "Dobato/Dobado"... so I was wondering what he meant, I assume it's an insult, or is it not Japanese at all and just made up? I looked for a translation, and even tried splitting it up and changing some letters around… I haven't run across it before. I don't read the Manga.... though I might ^^ Anyway, sorry for the probably silly question. But I loved this episode! Edit: Quesion answered. |

| that was a cute episode <3 I was reading the manga, and the part Iorogi writing the score on her face was really missing for me. I think it was moving too fast, they could take her test for 2 episodes at least, and most of the episode was a filler... in the manga it takes 1 Vol. until she gets the bottle. and Fujimoto appeared too fast. not so much like the manga, but I really enjoyed Kobato's singing <3 I keep hear that even right now. <33333 even tho she was suppuse to sing it in diffrent situation... I hope they will be ok after that episode, because I want it to be like the manga <_< |

| Since I'm a man, I don't use words like cute! =P I will say that it was a very good first episode though! Different from anything I've seen this season so far. It has a very high score coming from me if it continues down this road. |

Then...that makes me part of the minority, then? o_o; I know Kobato is supposed to be cute and endearing, but to me, she came off as 25% endearing and 75% annoying. But, yeah, I'm generally not fond of this archetype in the first place - you know, the girl who's so air-headed yet people still love her, anyway, for being nice...and cute. Still, I thought the first episode was decent. Even though Kobato was pretty annoying, she was cute and the episode was, overall, fairly enjoyable. I'll continue to watch for the next few episodes before I decide whether to drop it or not. 3/5. |
