| Glad I read the entire manga after episode 12, the ending was indeed filth. So much was cut out and modified for the second half of the series that I'd call it an anime original ending. |

| plz dont mention that trainwreck of a show...unfortunately i watched it before this, which made me even more pissed that it happened again regen girl i could see living cuz we saw her regenerating at the end of last ep, but how could she make it to kazumi in time? do they just live in walking distance of the big bad guys vacation home? dont think they did well, ill be adding the manga to my list, and removing a point on the rating for not letting kazumi die at least (i dont hate the character, just should have died with the scenario) |

| When this season started I was really hyped about this series, I loved Elfen Lied and coming from the same author the story has to be great, right? Okay. Yeah, that was my thinking when the season began. And the first episode was full of potential, hell I'll even go as far as to say the first few episodes were full of potential. However, I forgot to take one thing into consideration when I was getting hyped up over the concept of a new series from the creator of EL... And, as if they did it only to prove to me that I forgot something so important, the animation studio behind this one went and mucked everything up and ruined what could have been an epic series. It was rushed, extremely rushed. They skipped an entire arc, for no reason other than just to meet their own agendas. They forced like 40 chapters into the last two, count them TWO, episodes. This is ending was crap. Originally I had scored this at a 9/10 after the first six episodes had aired; but, after watching the last seven episodes I've dropped my rating to a 7. The 7 actually seems a bit generous, but the first few episodes were good and I really enjoyed the characters. So, yeah, I would consider this an anime original ending- and I would also say without any doubts: It sucked. |
