What's your favorite OST? Mine is "Gates of Steiner" It reflects upon the drama, regret, mystery, lightness, the deep meanings that you will experience in Steins;Gate. You can pretty much sum up Steins;Gate with that OST also relates with my everyday life.

Hey, that's mine too. One of mine, at least.

A specific song? That's so difficult. I'd say it's between Inner Universe (GITS), Niji (Eureka 7) and Go To Rakuen (Wolf's Rain).

More of a fan of "Walt" myself, but that's a great one too.

I own the Boogiepop OST, though, that's pretty good.

Good taste, but Kill la Kill and A/Z were pretty easily some of Sawano's weakest works IMO. Kanno has done some great stuff and I don't think anybody could doubt that Nujabes is a genuis.

I guess so, but this one totally gave me a major LSS for two weeks. Nujabes is really a genius. Kinda sad that he left though. He's gonna save the future of Anime OSTs if he was still here.

And any Yoko Kanno is always good too.

Weak doesn't mean bad, A/Z and KlK both have solid soundtracks. I think I just have a preference for his more orchestral stuff, like this.

And yeah, it's terrible what happened to Nujabes.

Phantasm FES CV (Yui Sakakibara) - Haritsuke No Misa

And Itou Kanako - Find the Blue

I'll have some fun with this one. How I manage to squeeze 54 anime ost (after a few cuts) into my iphone is a miracle in itself. Lets put my top 10 in descending order.
*this is really hard.....got it
10. Wolf Children- breaks my soul every time
9. Broken Blade- wow these battle tracks are frenetic
8. Arakawa under the Bridge- quirky tracks even the battle ones, fun to listen to
7. Fairy Tail- this is just a good headbanger gotta love the celtic rock
6. Ouran HighSchool Host Club- classical music done well
5. Guilty Crown- thunderous scores but some favs are the quieter ones
4. Evangelion (rebuilds)- Yeah epic choirs are present in most of the tracks
3. Promise album compilation- remembering the feels from Mikoto Shinkai films
2. Garden of Sinners- best kaijura work I heard, too bad SAO was dissapointing
1. Durarara!!- has a lot genres put together, imo better jazz than cowboy bebop

Honerable Mentions: Ruroni Kenshin, Haibane Renmei, Chihayafuru, Tsubasa Chronicles, Mai-hime, Romeo x Juliet, Attack on Titan, Spirited Away, Zetsuen no Tempest, TDOHS, Key VN Piano Arranges
My life is boring cause I'm boring

I've noticed that Shinichiro Watanabe's works tend to have exemplary soundtracks
case in point:
-Cowboy Bebop (Kanno)
-Zankyou no Terror (Kanno)
-Samurai Champloo (Nujabes, Fat Jon, Force of Nature, Tsutchie, etc.)

FLCL's the pillows-scored OST is also some of the best that anime has to offer.

Aku no Hana's soundtrack is largely underrated, but nonetheless amazing.

Any of Joe Hisaishi's works are top-notch as well

Others that stand out include .hack//sign (or any of Kajiura's work), Mekakucity Actors, Shin Sekai Yori, and Interstella5555 (though that may be cheating haha)
