Yeah,It Looks its the end but you know something there is a bookend from the first stage to the last and that is the cars bypass each other moment You see
In the first stage Takumi in his car AE86 by pass a man who is shaving in side in his car and thinks "He hasn't change a bit.
In the final stage during its last moments a unknown man in a GT 86 (which is the successor to AE86) bypass Takumi in a different blue car which stunned him calling this series 'full circle'.

I know I'm late to the party but I'm getting ready to watch this four episode final season now. It's sad that this is the end. I would have loved for them to do a series 5 or 10 years later and show who kept up with racing, who went pro, who ended up with who, etc etc. Hoping there is a little bit of that at the end of this :)

why end ????
where is the story about the pro stuffs ......
I'm honestly so angry right now.
Did he become a pro or not? Mako did but he wouldn't? When Keisuke and Mako were pro racing he just drives in Impreza all over the place? This is crazy and I'm honestly angry, I get it that it was supposed to be an open ending, but it doesn't feel fully satisfying. It leaves some space for possible continuation, but it doesn't seem there will be any. And I was waiting for the pro stage arc so much. The most, actually.
