NGNL - No Game No Life. It's pretty entertaining, to say the least. But since you want some big boiiii stuff, I'd recommend Mawaru Penguindrum, Kyousougiga, Psycho-Pass, Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica, Higurashi no naku koro ni, Welcome to the NHK, Steins;Gate, Shinsekai Yori.  |

I'm not really sure of the type of genre you like but I'm going to recommend you a few series that I personally really enjoyed as a whole. Danganronpa: if you're into mystery-solving and stuff. This anime had me watching straight through the night and I ended up finishing this series in one sitting. Non non Biyori: if you want a masterpiece, I say this is the best example of a masterpiece anime. It's slice of life which may be boring to some, but for me it was far from that, it's so relaxing and the way this series is presented is just amazing to me. It just makes you forget your worries. Usagi Drop: a relaxing watch, nice insight into the lives of single-parents and how they cope. sounds boring, I assure you it's not. Also, the characters are developed so beautifully you just can't help but have these warm happy feelings as you watch them grow. Attack on Titan: I know many people say this is overrated and all but there's good reason for the hype surrounding this anime. It's completely captivating and it's so cool just watch it you won't regret it. It may be overrated but there's a reason why it's so popular Steins;Gate: I love the concept of time-travel and the execution of this anime was spectacular, it's not confusing at all despite the countless time-travels. I say this anime is a must-watch. Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica: similar to Steins;Gate in that they share the idea of time-travelling for the specific purpose of saving loved ones. The art style was a bit annoying for me at first but bear with it and you'll soon see why this anime is worth watching to the end for. Shinsekai Yori: this one has a darker, more ominous feeling set right from the beginning. the macabre feel of the whole series was what made it so captivating to me. This anime explores the concept of a new world with cold rigid rules or something and where flawed (or at least the new society's perception of "flawed") humans are discarded, and this was an interesting concept that drove the plot along. If you're into the darker kind of anime, this is easily a masterpiece. hope this helps! |
