And yeah, I highly doubt that the announcement will be something like monthly serialization, but I can't help to think about it when I read the recent chapters (much more dark & mature) and Togashi hiatus habit. |

If Togashi does just those one week breaks, then obviously I would prefer that. But, this is Togashi we are talking about. There is no guarantee that the hiatuses would just be for one week. So, yeah, I would prefer 24 chapters over two years over possibly none over two years. |

I love Togashi's work, and actually feel he's entitled to whatever breaks he may take - I don't doubt part of the reason for HxH's high quality is due in part to him being able to take his desired downtime and plot the course at his own pace. However, if a monthly schedule alleviated him from the high-stress / high-demand workload that a weekly serial gives, and proves as reinvigorating to his work life, then that would probably mean a lot less unforeseen, lengthy breaks that could take god knows how long. I'll take a stable, monthly serial over a highly erratic weekly one every single time. I'm convinced Jojo's switch to Ultra Jump was one of the best things that could have happened for the franchise - Steel Ball Run saw a definite step up in storytelling and art, and if it gives Togashi what he perceives as the same opportunity, then I think he should embrace it. As for the "special project", I'm pretty sure, personally, that it will be something anime-related; either another movie announcement, or, against all odds, an anime-original story arc co-produced by Togashi himself, but that's honestly just a personal pipe-dream. It could also be another multi-media related thing, such as a new video game or supplementary material. |

| I thought there wasn't space for another crazy person with someone already present like Hisoka, Illumi and Pariston, I already hate this prince, he's really weird, talking about Kurapika I would like to see how he will react to him. Good to see Pariston hating someone. Gon now without nen seems a little lost, but I don't mind if he would be out from this arc, especially considering Ging is present and Don has been mentioned. Cos the way he is he can't be going to DC at all. Knuckle only said specifically about Gon's Rock. IMO, Gon's Jajanken weakness will be covered up once he mastered Paper and Scissor on high level. As long as he is focus on opponent, with experience i doubt Jajanken will fail on most enemies if he use it wisely. But of course, Gon really need to create a new Hatsu if he want to increase his combat capability. I am really sad if Gon really out from this arc, but Ging as protagonist is good, too. |

| I love the part with Gon returning home. Poor little kid deserves some relaxing at this time. And it's always sweet to see him with Mito. I liked how Gon spoke of Ging, as he's more like a cool guy rather than an actual father. And it's hilarious how he has been missing school work. Looks like he will busy for quite a while. |

I don't recall any title in "Weekly" Shonen Jump that run monthly. The most possible option is to move HxH to Jump SQ which run monthly and is aimed at ages 16-21 which I think the perfect audience for HxH borderline seinen territory.
