It's aimed for boys ages 5 to 10 or 10 to 18 depending on the content. Shoujo: It translates to 'Young woman' and is a style of anime and manga intended for girls ages 5 to 10 or 10 to 18 depending on the content. Seinen: It is intended for an older audience than shōnen. The content is intended for men ages 18 to 40 or older. Josei: Like Seinen (which is for older MALE audiences), Josei is intended for an older FEMALE audience than shōjo. The content is intended for women ages 18 or older. Tsundere: A female character type whose personality goes through a (character) development process in which a person, who is initially cold and even hostile towards another person, shows their warm side over time ( is initially combative but eventually becomes loving and emotionally vulnerable). Yandere: This female character is the inverse of a Tsundere. Loli: (just in case) It is a 'younger' girl or a girl with youthful characteristics. It includes GothLolis and LoliGoths (Gothic Lolita) - basically a fashion trend where girls and young women dress in the style of elaborate porcelain dolls. Mahoujo: It's actually Mahou Shoujo or 'Magical Girl'. I hope that helps! Ask anything! ^.^ |
