| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Oh boy, another match again between Alka and Jin... However, unlike the last few matches, even Jin feels a a bit surprised yet enthusiastic. The action itself imo was not bad but episode itself felt a bit awkward. Oddball episode. This show really shifts between moody and happy at times with Jin's life being spared....sigh. |

| Liked that soundtrack through the fighting sequence between Aruka and Jin Varel and in the end Aruka decided to spare her life. Aruka is now living a happy human life. |

| Showdown against Jin Varrel was pretty good! Hazuki was so lame.. How could you miss a point blank range shot? Roana and Karen on the other hand, managed to put up a good fight. Gangte was such a great subordinate.. His laugh while falling down the pit was epic! Aruka vs. Jin wasn't bad either. That swordfight was a bit flashy though. Looks like Aruka is on the right track after using up all her (sword clan) power. Jin will probably be okay too. White-haired Philosopher guy delivers again. Great one as usual. Aruka's smile at the end was nice. Her answer to Ron was simple yet nice too. Perhaps, this should've been the last episode. Eh, rating may vary depending on the ending.. |

Granted it's not very often that video game adaptations are any good, but this was particularly awful. I'm not sure why they couldn't have just put down the original game's story in a shortened form. Even cut down to the bare bones of the story, it would've been many times better than this. Your player character in the mmo had more lines of dialogue (via quest text...) in the first two zones than Alka did in this entire show... | Hmm okay. The action animations and the graphics was nice but, the story was just bad. There are so many plot holes, you still don't know what the hell this show is about. |

| Alka is finally in the mood to fight huh. Alka became 'human' and became a little weak in fighting. There's another episode. But this ending looks like it was the last. |
| This show really hit the shit. There was so much stupid shit going on in this episode. Like, at one point Alka jumped off a tree (no branches, just leaves) and jumped like 12m in the air from the push. At another point, Jin and Alka scaled a mountain in 2 seconds. At least they didn't pull another episode 11. |

This episode pretty much seemed like it's going to be the last episode... What are they going to conclude in the next episode? The series was good in the beginning, but things are going down hill. | Best episode so far!!! The background music throughout was just majestic! So you have to be bathe in impurity to activate that butterfly seal, I thought when Alka dripped her blood on her shoulder she did it to activate it. Jin was indeed just a pawn, I wonder who she really is and that big dude too. Too bad there probably isn't enough time to show her background unless there's a 2nd season. Same goes with the ending, judging by the preview there won't be any big battle against the true last boss Yu Ran. Hazuki is a tsundere.. so there is potential for some yuri love there. | The addition of the abundant amount of screaming, moaning, and crying this episode made it more worse than normal. It always nice to find that one anime every couple seasons that you can just tear into because it is so bad when it's trying to be good. I could of swore this was marked for 12 episodes at first and then became 13 somewhere along the line. I'm serious. If anyone finds this show good or any variation of that assessment needs to reevaluate their entertainment parameters. | I know this is a bad anime by normal people standards, but I can't help but enjoy it. That being said, I don't like most popular anime so I guess I'm just a weird one. The story meanders and doesn't concentrate on anything for too long, that's part the reason why I like it. |

| Inb4 Season 2. LOL B&S wasn't terrible, a lot of problems with plot and character development. Animation, and art were fine it's just one of those animes you watch because you can. I still have no idea on 80% of the series but that's okay. xD |

| Hooooly shit, what was that. This was totally a season ending. After all the randomness, in the end Jin is alive, what.....?!?!? Anyway, episode 13 will probably be a recap of all the Jin fights so far :D |
| Don't know..don't feel like this anime should be rated so low. It's better than a lot of the crap that gets 8+ out there. I always suspected Jin Varel was good =D |

| 4/5 Anime is not earth-shattering, but at least compared to all those transposed to the JRPG, it was nice to follow as far as the plot, the story was not bad. OST is very good, fabulous ending. Characters poorly characterized, it is focused too much on Alka leaving behind the rest of the cast. Decent as a series, the final vote of 6.5/10! |

| I.... still.... don't get it....... Okay, I mean I get the gist of the plot, but in the end it is still so damn confusing. Jin was a hero, Jin died, got resurrected and was a vessel for Impurities, killed Alka's teacher and starts conquering the world. Alka is an assassin for hire who is out for revenge. For some reason, she has a butterfly mark that allows her to cleanse impurities? Then everything else is about how Jin or Alka F'd up the world and everyone else is out for revenge of some sort against the two of them. Was that the whole plot? The story pretty much ended on a "WTF" note. I'll watch the last episode just to round things off, but I'm seriously not expecting much. |

| Seems I was right in that they were saving their animation budget for the final battle. Very good duel with fluid moments and a great soundtrack. The only thing I really want from this show is to find out why Jin sees things the way she does and her connection to Alka. |

It almost drove me mad because I kept finding "Kun Theme (Character Creation)" which is not quite like the one used in the anime. For starters it's slower and it doesn't use drums.
