| These characters initially strove for the good of things and had good intentions, but eventually fell from grace, due to tragic or Stressful circumstances or the like, and became villainous because of it. Does anybody know more characters like this, someone that was basically a pure or righteous figure but had their downfall? No characters who were innocent but were effected by their surroundings (Lucy "Elfen Lied") or characters that were initially and partially bad from the beginning and got worst. (Tetsuo "Akira") Examples of what I'm Looking for: Griffith (Berserk): [spoiler] At first strived to create his own fair and equal kingdom along with his comrades, but a devastating incident happened that led him to betray them. Priscilla (Claymore): [spoiler] Fought as a warrior against the Yomas that murdered humanity, but then became the very thing she was fighting when pushed to the limit. Yomi ( Ga Rei Zero): [spoiler] Was an exorcist that fought against evil spirits, but because of a horrible death and fraud, she gave in to temptation and succumbed to evil. |

| First thing that came in my mind is Walter White from Breaking Bad but he isn't an anime character so.. The closest to what you are looking for are: Lelouch Vi Britannia Kotomine Kirei I will probably think of more later |
